I can survive a while. I'm pretty risk adverse so I've got a good emergency fund in place.

Hunting I guess haha. After the chili and bean/rice stock is gone and before crops come in. I suppose if
it gets real bad I'll work my way to one of the two spots up north. One should be easy enough to reach while the other could serve difficult.
    You?

My wife will be working remotely by week's end and I doubt the State is going to fully shut down my agency. My particular agency generates funds for the state. They won't put that cash cow out to pasture. So I reckon the two of us will be working throughout this 'health crisis'. I may have pulled a stack of cash recently just in case and generally have my .45 within arm's reach. We have food enough for a few weeks and live outside of town. Unless the country falls into sufficient chaos for the power to go out, I have plenty of water from the well, salt for the softener, and fresh filters on my RO system.

Never say never but OPM would have to go under for me to be concerned fortunately. However, my main concern is did my children heed our harping and put away 3 months of savings as my parents taught us.

What about you? Once tourism dies off on the island will you still have revenue coming in? Could you rekindle your hand modeling career?

All kidding aside, are you retired?

I've got 6 hens laying right now and I'd be sick of eating them but they produce enough eggs to feed the 3 of us, 3 acres I could farm, horse and cattle farms within a mile to barter with.

Plus the 4 months of savings on hand, not including the pension and 401k that could be cashed out if things got really bad.

Won't happen. Chemical plants rarely shut down and mine requires security as per the USCG MARSEC

I have a herd of squirrels I could tap into. After those, I’ll be eating bugs stuck on the hood of my truck. Looking back, I should have saved that dragon fly from last summer.

Semi-retired. I mostly help those that need it and seek out opportunities to make a difference. The non-elderly poor are very well taken care of in our country so that area is not where I focus. Our seniors in this country need the most help right now. Don’t get me started on unborn babies.

I offered to go buy groceries for my 75 year old neighbor. He's very healthy and independent so he told me to f*ck off.

He's the man though. He's got every tool imaginable and 75 years of experience to show me how to get shit done. I like having old neighbors.

That's already happened. the calls for H2O service have dried up.

Bummer on your work drying up. Good thing is you probably have a well and know you’ll have fresh water which is the most basic need besides food. The small businesses are going to be hit the hardest. Lots of people right now with ‘real jobs’ are riding the ‘two weeks paid vacations’, but when that time period ends then what? Their tunes will change.

Too many variables right now, but this thing will have long term repercussions not yet considered by some.

Just received first hand knowledge, last night, from someone that ‘thinks’ they were exposed 9 days ago. No symptoms. They are self quarantining.

I've been staring at the rabbits behind my house. It's like on Looney Tunes when it's a rabit but all I see is meat.

My office will keep going remotely. I'm going to clean up my garage and build a new desk this week. My desk is okay for an hour or so but after that it's terrible to sit at. I need a new chair too but I'll try and put that off.

After about a month or 2 of being MIA, the T3 randomly reappeared covered in pollen at a different house around the corner from where it used to be....

I wanna buy this truck for a DD so bad. Only mods I'd do is the radio and backup camera. Maybe some trd 17s
It's already got a dual exhaust. Not sure if that was part of the T3 or aftermarket.

    It needed to be done.

Plus I'm sick of there being 0 vendor support for 1st gens on this site. There used to be a few and they all stopped making parts for us. Fuck them. I'm pretty sure they were one of them

These trucks are too obscure to support with aftermarket parts. Just get used to it, I've been used to it since 2008.

I know what you mean man. I was looking for something the other day, and I can't remember what it was now, but someone recommended a company. I found their site and sure enough only products for RAM, GM, and Ford. No Toyota, not even the newer ones. Sigh...

Get creative and either make your own stuff or hire an artisan. There is a reason why there aren’t many products for our 1st Gen trucks... not profitable for the manufacturers.

yeah I know this isn't a democracy and the mods can do what they want, but I don't agree with that one. If that's vacation worthy then so is the vendor creating a sale in the name of the virus.
