    Love your steps,

I bought the N-Fab type like that but some how I keep slipping on the tube as I try to put my foo ton the step itself and it seems the step should be a little bit lower and out from the tube, have you had the problems with those! I had your brand on my 2010 Tundra DC and never had that problem!

Any one else can respond, thanks!

I'll give it a try, thanks!

Its not that I slip on the step itself its like I go to put my foot on the step and the foot hits the tube first then i slip off both as if the step don't stick out enough from the tube, I may go with a AMP later but dont know how it being power and may have problems down the road!

I did have interest in these types and if may be easier to step on, also wonder if they are widely used on Tundra's

Got my rear brakes changed. Had a somehow bend caliper pint and it just chewed up my pads. Luckely I have lifetime replacement from Autozone and with $12 for a new pin plus bushings, truck is back on the road.
This is my third set of brakes on the truck in the past 72k miles, but 95% of my driving is city with fully loaded bed with tools. (Last time I weighted and 6980lb)

Where is everyone getting their wheels/tires/lifts? You buy it all independent and install it yourself, or go to a place like 4Wheel Parts and get it all done together? I don't have a clue about lifts but know I want to go at least with 35's, either in 18" or 20" wheels, and still keep a very smooth ride. What lift would I need for clearance and not rub and or have to chop it up? There are so many options, not sure what to do, or what is best.

Yeah, but that's most of the problem. Don't know what I need. I hear guys going with this and that for the front or back, or doing this other and so forth. Coil over, spacers, suspension, etc.

Looking at the Boss complete lift, there are options for the rear shock and rear lift that I don't know what I'd need. Then Upper Control Arms? That lift is only 3" overall, is that considered the level? Could I get 35's under it without a problem? Humm....

I dont really have a budget, mostly because I don't know what it's all going to cost, ha. I just want something really good, look bad ass and ride really smooth. Yes I will have to get new tires and wheels. Wheels I'll probably go with Fuel or Method, Tires I want them to be 35's I think I've decided. Want to have a good offset that looks good with my flares. The wheels and tires I can figure out, that's not the hard part. It's the lift, ha.

Not sure I want a 6" lift, that seems a little too much. 4" would probably be good, or if I can get away with the 3/2 level and those size tires.

I was in your same boat I wanted 6" but wouldn't fit in most garages and parking structures and when I looked at the 4" it was same price as 6" so I went with 3" half the price and only 1" difference just know if you go 35s you will have to cab mount chop if wasn't for that I would have went with 35s @TTU19

So, 4" is about max w/o cutting the cross member, from what I understand (4x4). It's also kinda hard to get to 4" as most coil overs yield about 3". I think of 2.5" as pretty much level w/o touching the rear based on having had 5100s (top setting) up front. At 3" you're gonna need the diff spacer and probably ucas. The bigger tires are what really hurt the ride in my experience. I did my suspension first then my tires, and noticed the difference. With 35's I think you're likely to rub the cab mount, I do with 295 70 18 but more wheel offset might be the answer for me. So, King, Fox, ADS, Toytec, OME, Fatbobs, SAW are the C/Os that I can think of to yield ~3" up front. Then, if you want plush you might look into new rear leafs or a mini pack. There are a lot of people better able to help you out than I can. Maybe talk to one of the vendors here that really know their chit.

yeah, unless you're planning to go 37's, I would stick with a 3" lift in front and go with 34"-35".

What tires did you go with then? I saw a truck at the dealership that was my dream stance. They said it was a 6" lift, Fox coil over springs, 35's with a good wide stance. It was bad ass in every way. I just worry for reality, it may be a little too much. So if I could get the 35's with a smaller lift, might be the best way to go. But that's why I haven't pulled the trigger, I have no idea what to do. And I'm afraid of walking into the 4Wheel Parts and then getting taken in the cost, and if they even really know what they're doing. Haha..

Yeah, first determine if 3" with 34.4"-35's is going to work for you. That's what pretty much what all 3 of us have.

Yep, What Joon said. Around 3", plus you'll get another inch from your larger tires, and wheels with an 18 - 25 offset. You'll be in there like swimwear!

Ok, so which lift did you go with then? What is the tire size for a 34.4 tire?
