That’s not on you. I wouldn’t have posted it if I didn’t want to. I’ve been dragging my heals. Trying to motivate myself.

Honestly it looks like almost every other garage that I have seen in Maine oddly enough?
And maybe too much like mine as well?

At least I know where everything is in mine........well mostly.

So my friend's dad had a garage that looked like that and he didn't know where to start. He figured since he barely even knew what was in there, he could get rid of most of it. He went through and picked out the stuff he wanted to keep, moving it temporary storage. Then he blocked all but one entrance, set up a table at that one and had a garage sale. When people showed up he said everything was for sale, just grab what they want, bring it to the table and they'll make a deal. His place was empty other than garbage in 2 days and he pocketed something like $3500.

Its amazing what unorganized people accumulate. I’ve been scoring on used garage stuff these past few years mostly for free. Usually, there are 2 or 3 of the same item because they lost/misremembered where the original said item was located. Many items I take and regift them to people that need them, always giving credit to the person giving it away.

The reason I don't do most of my own work is because I am lacking this area...i have dirt to work on :(. But my next house will have a good size garage and a LIFT!

I have been renovating our house for a few years so always have spare dimensional lumber kicking around. Here are some easy and cheap upgrades IMO

I'm cool with earthquakes. I don't even like wind so a tornado or hurricane would make me miserable.

Here’s mine. I get more work done in 30 minutes in my garage gym than most people get done in an hour at most commercial gyms. And that doesn’t include the driving time that I don’t have to do. Doing bench press, belt squats and trap bar shrugs today. All the equipment gets stacked and piled up inside the power rack when I’m done so we can pull the cars inside the garage. I can blast whatever music I want and never have to wait on clowns curling in the squat rack. Plus, my kids are starting to get interested in lifting, too. Win/win.

That's a code violation. NEC 110.26(a). Must have 36" working space in front of a panel.

    Other than that looks awesome!

I bought in a less desirable part of the city to get a heated, insulated garage with 220v.
This is an easy and awesome garage upgrade for anyone to steal. Store all your long, awkward stuff up top and lift almost whatever you want from either end. Each corner is tied into 2 roof trusses, with a worm gear pully on one end and an ATV winch on the other.

I'm in Southern York PA. This pic was taken last year. I have since hung foam board insulation and drywall. We use a propane torpedo heater in the winter months, it holds heat pretty good... Though I do need to insulate the ceiling.
