    Hey what's up everyone!

Picked up my Tundra back in July 2008 so original owner and have pretty much been in love with it since. I try to take real good care of her. I'm hoping in 20-30 years I'm still able to drive her around; given we still have gas available to us...lol

My very first mod was to put a toy in the back. I still have the bike and love that one too. First year model 2008 Yamaha WR250R.

That bike set me back so it was a year and a half or so until I installed the next mod...TRD sway bar. I have to say that I immediately noticed much less roll when cornering. Quality parts and easy install.

Next mod was the TRD air box. Also quality part but something was lacking...

I knew what it was but decided instead of going big right then I had to have a level kit, some wheels and running boards. Went with Raptor running boards, Revtec 3" level and Pro Comp 7031's with Nitto Terragrapplers 305/55/20

I don't have the greatest pic of the next mod but one of the better mods I've done...Corsa Touring Exhaust. No drone and IMO you don't hear it until you mash the pedal. At the time I had young kids that were light sleepers so this one was good for the family in terms of cabin noise.

This one was the big one and what was lacking that I mentioned earlier after putting in the airbox (first under hood mod). It's hands down the best mod I've done and I still smile every time I drop the pedal. Not sure how I convinced my wife to let me drop the dime but TRD Supercharger installed by Toyota. I think I had it done in 2012 and the truck had about 30k miles.

At this point she's a total 'sleeper'. I've had other make/model half ton trucks, a mustang and like a 65' GTO come up on and me and bye bye.

This Christmas I treated myself to a TRD radiator and oil cap and Bushwacker pocket style color matched fender flares. I really like how they came out. I had about 2.5 inches of tire exposed out of the fender getting all kinds of crud and little rocks at times hitting paint so these are functional also.

Thanks for checking out my build and appreciate the warm welcomes very much! Let me know if I can answer any questions!!

close to 73k. it's not my daily driver for work so that helps. i roll a little prius for that :)

i try to take care of that color by getting it detailed annually and always wearing protection ... lol

Been awhile but I finally had the grille surround color matched. Looks soooo much better imo. Combined with the blacked out headlights and color matched bushwhackers, really like how it's come out. don't think I'll drop the dime anytime soon for a color matched or aftermarket front/rear bumper. Spending the money on my latest project. 2017 Lexus RC F :)

Just a heads up that I've hosted all of my photo's on old school photobucket free account and not looking to pay. I'm over bandwidth (visits) so they are going to shut me down and blur out my photo's as of 9/9/2019. Apologies if you come back here and can't see my pics.

Btw, like the grill. That’s a damn good looking truck. Any thoughts on eliminating the front bumper? I think that last chunk of chrome would be a good mod.

got distracted the last year building up another project. i thought about selling this beast for about 10min then decided i would go full bore on a refresh instead. fundamentally it's still the same platform but this ole girl is boosted, only 83k miles and has been so good to me. phase 1 of the refresh starts this thursday. i'll post up some pics.

    fox 0-3" ultimate suspension kit
    - 2.5" coils front
    - 2.0" coils rear
    - total chaos uca's
    - toytec add-a-leaf
    - carrier bearing and diff drops

dropped my baby off for install. when i was younger i had more time than money but these days i have a little more money than time and for such a project i really wanted some pro's to handle it. local shop with good reviews and i believe in supporting local businesses. besides, how do you not trust a place with a giant rooster out front. pics and initial review of the kits this weekend hopefully.

expecting a pick up call today. sorry for this lame update but i'm way to excited not to add to the build log. when they inspected the truck they said it was pretty clean for 83k miles. a clean bill of health is a prerequisite before they start to working on it. not sure if that's standard procedure but i appreciated that. good sign they're thorough.

Phase 1 refresh complete. Ended up at 4/2, 26in from center of hub to bottom of fender on all four corners. Given weather and stuff to do, picked it up and drove home. Still need to properly bed the new trd bbk system and set dampening. Originally wanted to keep the rake but digging it right now and I can always change it later since fully adjustable. Rubbing on body in reverse full lock with the 3/1 is gone!! Phase 2 likely color matched bumpers. Have not found bumpers I like for my taste. They are either too over the top or prerunners not enough. Still searching.

Sweet looking build! I'm with you on bumpers... Its hard to find something tasteful that isn't way over the top
