Good grief the panic has hit

local Walmart is sold out of toilet paper and paper towels
We are getting a rush here the stuff is flying off the shelf literally

so I took a break and said f it and panic bought lol

Cases of water are now being limited to 4 per purchase

when we are out re supply is going to be extended


It’s nuts

 

Same here. I went for dog food and checked it out cause i needed paper plates and paper towels. Paper towels were almost out. TP was gone. Only a few paper plates as well.

yeah they just cancelled the state basket ball tourney here in colorado...

I’m officially burnt out on coronavirus jokes.

Attention guy in line behind me at Walgreen’s: Me buying allergy medicine is not a set up for your “YoU aIn’T gOt CoRoNaViRuS dO yA?” joke. You’re not clever, and everyone who knows you hates you.

Your kids can’t look you in the eyes because they’re embarrassed to have you as a father. Your wife curses the day she met you, and you may as well save the money on the Pepto Bismol you just put on the counter. It’s not indigestion. She’s been slowly poisoning your food for months.

 

Well the Ohio governor just put all Ohio schools on a three week vacation.

 

Damn

 

I about shit when I heard the news. Starting Monday 3 weeks out of school. schools are going to decide how the kids are going to get their work done.

 

A lot of child care issues are going to rise. Those kids are still going to be going to friends, malls, movies, ect, so its not going to prevent exposure.

 

One thing that HD is doing is if a parent is in a area where schools are shut down and child care not available, HD will pay that associate for 14 days of time off, they do not have to use their sick pay or vacation time, and the time off will not be held against them.

Same if a employee gets infected, same time off.

Its one thing they are getting right.

 

By mid morning we were the only store around that had any toilet paper, by noon we were sold out. I can tell you even how many packages of paper towels we were selling.

 

That's great that there's stepping up.

 

I bet kids are loving that eh!

 

Next everybody will start taking handfuls of napkins when they're at the restaurants. When hunting we always carry a whole bunch of napkins in our hunting coats we call it mountain money when you're in the woods it's as good as money.

 

Probably till they realize they got all that freaking work to make up. Lol

 

They going to extend the school year?

 

Lol yup! Tell them when they go back, they will even go to school on weekends to catch up on work haha

 

to heck with the napkins I always have a roll of toilet paper. I pull out the card board tube so it compacts down. Saves space.

 

We don't know as of yet The governor just came on the news and said that he was making them take the next 3 weeks off starting Monday and that they had to make up the school work.
