Coilovers options w/ 6" lift questions

Hello all, I'm new here and glad to have found this forum! I am located in the DFW, Texas area, prior Military, 30 yrs old and have a few expensive hobbies. But the real reason for this thread is I need some advice on suspension. I have a 2014 white Tundra TSS Offroad 4x4 which currently has a 6" Fabtech lift. The lift is great, ride quality is great and I've had zero issues with it, the only thing is, it's a little bit tall for my liking (I am 6'0 but I lean more towards the Baja look) but it's really not too bad at all. So I was considering removing the Fabtech 6"a lift and replacing it with a 4"or 4.5" BDS lift with the fox coilover upgrade. That's one option, now the other option is I can pick up a set of coilovers for the 6" Fabtech lift that's already installed. So far the two options are a set of fox coilovers with the external reservoir's for $1,100 and I believe they are new but we're just never installed. The other option is a set of TRD Bilstein coilovers with the external reservoir that are brand new still in the box for $800. So kind of looking for some advice on which route to go maybe, also is there a particular coilover set that I need to look for that would fit a 6 in lift? Also if possible what do you guys think of the prices for both sets of coilovers? Could I possibly bargain a little bit to try to get them to lower the prices or are they both priced appropriately? Also my wheel and tire setup are KMC XD series misfit 800 rims 20x9 +0 offset wrapped in Toyo Open Country 35x12.5x20. I have been wanting switch up the wheels to some method rims or possibly SCS Ray 10's, I like the 35's but would consider dropping down to 33's if needed on a 4.5" lift. any and all advice is appreciated. Also if anybody selling any coilovers, LED lighting components, front or rear bumpers, TRD grill etc... Let me know

Good looking truck! And those are pretty sweet prices for coilovers dude. If u can get it down cheaper, more power to ya! Are these full length coilovers at this price??? Or the standard length coilovers and you would combine it with the spacer that comes with non-coilover lifts?

ive got a procomp 7” and ive been browsing coilovers for months and theyre all much more expensive than ur options

 

Thanks Bud! She's not done yet haha but Both of those sets would have to of been ran with the spacers on the kit. So those are out because I don't want to run spacers, thats one of my main points of getting coilovers. The cheapest full Set front coilovers and rear shocks(new) were the Procomps which is around $2200 give or take. Then the next step up are the Fox 2.5 without external reservoir front coilovers and rear shocks at about $2700. I've noticed that with the Fabtech 6" lift and the fact that it's a Toyota Tundra limits the brands of coilovers that Id be able to run. I would scoop up a used set with light use quick... What have you been able to find?

 

i had a suspicion those were prices for the standard length! Good choice opting for full length, im still waiting for mines to show up but ive heard it makes a world of a difference.

I was about to purchase 7” fox’s w/ reservoirs for about $1500 (negotiated down from 1600 at 4wp), and also negotiated $500 for a pair of rear 2.0 w/ reservoirs. I ended up scoring a set of bilstein 8125 built for the readylift 8”, which is going to boost my lift up to 8”. Paid $1000 on Amazon. Crazy deal. Through my searching ive found procomp to be the cheapest. And more recently Rough County released a set that has adjustable valving for your choice in shock preference. Theyre the only company ive found that does it. Kings are also available but i didnt want blue, and custom colored kings were out of my budget.
