I’m on the fence about that. I want the alum cause I live on the coast rust wise but worried to take a big hit

 

I don’t care about rust, needed strong but light weight. For me skids are going to be a consumable item.

How do you like the ARB, been looking for a while at something that would be great winch bumper and looks right

 

Love the bumper @don3032 . It fits a 12000 lb Warn which was a must for me as the truck will be quite heavy once I’m done. I used Warn’s long relocation kit to move the controller under the hood which gives the front a cleaner look. It’s a heavy bumper and not everyone likes the hoops, but I like the fact that ARB takes safety into consideration and does a lot of R&D on their products. All around I’ve been quite happy so far.

Nice truck, did you have to reinforce the front suspension, also what size wheel and tires you running

 

I designed it using SolidWorks.

 

Im running 700# springs on the king shocks so it helped alot and didnt change the front end I'm only lifted about 2.5 inche . 17 inch wheel on 37 inch toyo

 

Is they’re enough distance between the grill and the bumper to remove it so the headlights or turn signals can be replaced?

 

No. If you plan on changing out your grille and headlights, I would do those first. Granted it’s not that hard to take the bumper off. It does take two people to lift this bumper.

 

The team at C4 have been great to deal with the whole process. They answered my questions in a timely manner and it arrived within the time slot they promised. Currently waiting for their rock sliders to arrive. Can’t wait.
