    Hey guys anyone have a review of these? I have the ICON 2.5 series front and rear. I also have a 1” block I’m trying to get rid of in the rear. The ride is stiff in the back and get the dreaded bed bounce. I’m hoping expansion pack will help. All input appreciated

    TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
    I had that pack, broke leafs on both sides. If you're not gonna replace the whole pack, which IMO is the right way to do it, look into a Deaver expansion pack. Just my .02

    Honestly, I'm not familiar with it at all, only that Deaver makes one. You can call Jeff (Deaver), super nice guy, and chat with him about what it is and what he can do for ya.

    This is the second Tundra I have had the Icon expansion pack on and I like it a lot. I have it currently paired with King 2.5 adj resis and it rides amazing. I like the additional lift it provides without needing blocks or shackles. I left one more additional leaf in versus what Icon says to do for a bit more height and strength.

    I have it and have not had any break but I am only at about half the height now due to sagging and I don’t tow. Rides good but don’t expect that 1.5 height to last forever

    Yeah for the icon pack I got you leave the main and overload but replace all the middle springs. Ride quality did improve on and off road

    ok so sounds like you reccomend it? i have 2.5 icon shocks in the back with a 1" spacer im tring to get rid of. it rides very rough right now. Hope the Icon pack will help

    To me it’s the best option without going to a full pack. It’s only a little more to get the rxt pack though.

    yeah i bough a stage 4 ICON setup, i installed the front and rear shock. Just waited on installing the expansion pack, it will be going in this weekend

    I have the Icon RXT Replacement leaf packs... No complaints here. Even with the extra leaf in, the ride is still good, 4" lift over stock, +750lbs additional payload capacity..

    For me, I am looking to get back a little bit of rake and would prefer to gain ride quality as opposed to gain capacity. With my 2 bikes in the back of the truck and accompanying stuff I don't think I would ever go above 650#'s in the bed of the truck.

    Do you have to do the add a leaf with the NXT? Or can you just get the NXT leaf pack?

    The RXT is a completely new leaf spring assembly. The 1.5" AAL is an add a leaf which adds 3 leafs to your existing pack but has you take out a couple of your factory leafs. I left one factory leaf in the pack so I have one more but I have a camper shell and a decked system so needed a bit more than 1.5"

    This is the problem with expansion packs and Deaver replacement leafs. they are usually great for a couple of years and then they start to sag and lose virtually all of their lift.

    So you did the leaf expansion kit and not the whole new leaf pack it sounds like. If so, how as the ride after the install?

    I did the ICON expansion pack and the Timbren bump stops in hopes to avoid any future sag. No complaints yet.

    I got the Icon leaf expansion pack as well. Raised the rear up 1.25" to get me me rake I was looking for and the ride is better as well. Very pleased with it.

    I had the icon expansion pack for a few years and it served me well although it did settle down to a lil under 1 inch of lift over time.

    I would recommended it for anyone who doesn’t tow or constantly carry weight in or over the bed.

    I have since moved on to a Deaver 748 leaf pack since I have an RTT on the way that will stay on the bed full time.

    What if you tow occasionally? I have a 21' travel trailer that I tow maybe 6 times a year if I am lucky. It weighs around 4k so not super heavy. Other than that the bed is normally empty.

    Here is my plan... I have 6112's at 1.9 inch (3rd notch). I have CB .5 shims that I had before I installed the 6112's. I plan to install these in additional to the expansion pack and 5160's for the rear. I am a little torn on the 5160 vs 5100's for the rear as many say unless your plans include a lot of offroad driving that you probably wont notice much difference? I plan on jumping up to 295/70/18's soon. Still debating my front bumper debacle (CBI or Victory). This whole swap-a-roo will cost me $3800!

    Here's my truck with Kings all around, front set at 2.5"s with JBA UCA'sStreet Queen.jpg , the back has the Icon expansion leaf pack but my suspension guy just inserted the leafs in the stock pack and removed the overload. I also installed the Total Chaos 3/4" shackles as I was looking to add some rake back for when I put my 2 dirt bikes in the back.

    You have the icon expansion pack without the stock overload? That’s incorrect and I’d have that overload leaf put back in soon. I decided to get airbags instead of the leaf kit.

    The instructions say to take out the overload and 1 other leaf. My suspension guy didn’t follow the instructions and went off of “what I always have done” and pretty much followed the Deavers pack that was designed to leave the overload in. Well, I’m OCD and said I wanted it done per the instructions so he went ahead and just removed the overload and left the other 1 in that was supposed to come out. Ugh! But I actually liked the way he did it the first time, it gave me the rake I was looking for.

    Long story short (well, not really) the end result was adding the Icon Expansion Leaf Pack to the stock Tundra leaf pack. With the compression adjustable Kings it works out great
