Am I the only one who thought the fender flare gasket that comes with the OE style fender flares is complete junk design?? The channel to slide over the edge along with the adhesive back is so small it hardly has anything to grab. I ordered a different style gasket I hope I have better results with. On a positive note I’m glad that I’ll hopefully cut down on all the rock chips. I don’t know how you guys do it with the crazy offset mine were barely peeking out and I was seeing the side effects of it.

I have had the same issue from day one and am very disappointed. None of the weatherstrip stuck to the flare and it curls off continually. What did you find, if you don’t mind sharing. As soon as the weather improves I am hoping to do the same.

I found some it looks to be a half inch that goes on the back where the adhesive is, as soon as I see if it works better I’ll post up with a link and how it did!!

Bushwacker customer service is great, lifetime service and guarantee. They don’t ask for proof of purchase and will give tech support and send all new gaskets etc... for free. They are a pain I put 4 on my 2020 yesterday.

@19TundraPlatinum , those are the Toyota OEM fender flares? They look really good on your truck. Where did you get them, and did you install them? They look more low profile and OEM than others I've seen, which is important for me.

They charged me $34.00 for new gaskets. Told me their warranty is for the original owner only

I used the VW beetle fender gasket in my 1st gen Celica TRD flares. It does have a big bead on it compared to Toyota oem.

I took the flares back off to change the gasket. So far I am MUCH happier with it (install wise). It has I’d say roughly a quarter of an inch tape instead of what looked to be about a 1/8th of an inch tape on the gasket the oem flares came with. That little extra meat really made a difference in it staying in place. I haven’t put them back on the truck yet I will update after they are on. I ordered 25 feet and as you can see from the picture I had just enough. About a inch left over. So no room for error!!

Much better didn spend a lot of time getting it to seat 100% since I’m taking them right back off to get paint protection film put on
