I took the truck out this weekend and had a blowout on my trailer on the way home. Anyway, the trailer is lifted and my truck jack barely did the job. I got to thinking; I need a better jack out on the trails. I was looking at Safe Jack, but wanted some input on what jack makes most sense off road. Let me know some thoughts here.

The baller and, IMO best, solution is Pro Eagle.

I know that some also use RV jacks because of their wide footprint and price point. ES Motorsports also has a chro-mo scissor jack, but it's more than the Pro Eagle.

The ARB is also an option, but it's a hydraulic high lift style. Some don't like that style though.

A good bottle jack is the SafeJack. I've seen them reliably lift 1ton trucks off road.

4 Wheel Parts has the Pro Eagle on sale right now if you’re feeling daring! It’s a really solid option, but you’ll need to lock that bad boy down wherever you store it. People know what they are and they can tend to disappear...

Safe Jack is the route I’m going since it’s a smaller and more stowable setup.

Yep, I’m on a plane to your old neighborhood right now. Land at 12:30 and get to build a shower with marketing this week. I took the truck out for the first time this weekend and it was a blast. The new Bilstein setup is awesome. The shackle also helped with the squat of the trailer weight. Blew out a tire on the trailer about ten miles from home.

I went with the Hi Lift Extreme since I have rock rails and can use them as the point of contact for the jack. Haven't had to use it....yet.

I carry a Hi-Lift in the bed, and a bottle jack. I'd reach for the BJ before the HL... :monocle:

Whatever jack you decide to get, make sure it has the lift capacity. Take into consideration the amount of lift you have and what kind of terrain you will be putting it on. You'd hate to buy a jack that works on pavement, only to have it sink enough to make it useless off road.

In the drawers? I'm not sure! When I had my Decked I don't remember trying to put it in the drawer.
I always had the PE on top, I'm wondering if I tried and it didnt' fit. It has the attachment point for the bar that isn't removable or can't be changed.

Looking at it, the extension where the arrow is pointed just needs to be removed. And with the circled area looks like would clear the drawers.

    3F0E5316-C5CA-4CDF-8853-17E0A195DA2A.jpg

My only issue would be the 60lbs being lifted into and out of Decked drawers!!

My plan is to get the caddy for it and attaching it to the bed since I no longer have my Decked. And cable lock if not removed for other non-off roading purpose.
