2020 Cement Limited Crewmax Grill questions

Hello all,
New owner and member here on Long Island NY and yes how surprising another cement Tundra.
So with the chrome grill being a bit too bright for my taste I wanted to de chrome a bit and see some unanswered questions when searching similar topics.
1. I see 18+ Tundras using the older style TRD Pro grill, what was used for a bracket for the TSS sensor, and does it compromise functionality. Trying to avoid buying 2 grills to make one functional one since the inserts aren't sold separately. I really like the 19+ TRD Pro grill but Cement isn't an option.

2. Are there front bumper end caps that color matched with sensor holes available. Or has anyone made your own sensor holes on the color matched end caps with success.

3. Any good places or brands to order side steps from, I like the N- fab style, but see other brands that are cheaper but not sure about quality.

I know I can get body shops to paint end caps and grill surrounds for me, just seeing if there are options before dealing with that.

Check this out, if you haven't already. I think it'll answer all your questions. I do recall that the TSS sensor has to be moved or something. I forget what the actual deal is, but as I recall there's a situation where you have to buy the bracket. Toyota sells it for like 300 bucks, presumably because they don't want people moving the sensor and want to make it too expensive to bother with.

You probably could find someone online to 3D print one, though. If I ever do the grille swap I'll probably print it myself if I have the guts to take it off and take measurements.

you can buy the 2019+ TRD pro grill in Cement painted from Sparks parts, but it's almost $1100 for all factory parts. I'm not sure if they take it apart to paint or paint it without taking it apart (and risking breaking tabs)

I thought I have seen aftermarket sensor covers for the 19+ Trd pro grill. Wanted to get feedback on quality of them since they are a quarter of the price. And are they also a mounting point for the sensor.

 

Thanks PJR202, I did see that post that's why I had questions. I've seen color matched bumper ends but not with sensor holes, was wondering If anyone retro fitted a set for sensors or knows an aftermarket supplier.
Was trying to buy bolt on without dealing with a body shop. I think buying my own end caps and grill and having them painted is cheaper than Sparks painting charge just for the grill.
Are there any tutorials on swapping grill inserts so I don't break tabs off?
I should've just waited and bought an army green TRD pro, but always loved the cement.

I think I would stick with the factory cover so you don't have any issues. The sensor gets mounted to the 2019 + grill. You could save money and get the 2017 PRO grill and not need that expensive cover, just the relocation bracket and a different cover.

 

Thanks that is a consideration also doing the 2017 grill, alot cheaper, are there any relocation brackets available aftermarket besides a 3D printed make your own options.

 

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the same truck. I am going to wait for the Trail Edition or the Nightshade parts to become available to see which is more reasonable. The Trail is going to come with the cement colored grill surrounds and throw in a Platinum or SR5 grill and I'd be happy. I don't necessarily need the Pro grill.

 

That's a consideration waiting for parts to become available. The shipping from Sparks was over the top, saw better prices on Ebay for grill/ hood bulge with shipping for 2017 cement trd pro.
