Picked up a 2013 DC SR5 not to long ago. I can see the person before me hauled some heavy stuff because the bed it pretty beat up.. wondering if my leaf springs are toast? Or are 2013 SR5s rear leafs usually flat?

The PO of my truck towed a heavy gooseneck and my springs were definitely shot when I got it. Tundra springs are pretty flat in nature, but mine almost had a negative bow. Kinda looks like yours are too. The biggest tell was the ride quality (shit). Replaced with a custom set of Alcans and couldn't be happier.

Mind sharing the cost and production time of your Alcan leaf packs? I'm in Moab off and on. It would be easy to pick them up in Junction Co.

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
Definitely an issue with the Tundra. The leafs are only 2.25" wide and that, I believe, is the problem. There is some development of aftermarket 3" wide leafs in the works.

 Im curious as well. Alcans were popular amongst my friends that did alot of wheeling. I didnt even consider putting alcans on the tundra but it sounds like a cool idea.

I believe I paid a tad over $800 for the springs including shipping to Denver.

As for lead times, Alcan told me 4-6 weeks, and I believe they were at my house at the end of 7 weeks. I was a little impatient at first, but shipping took a little bit, so local pickup would be better.

I asked for 2" lift height, and spec'd 200+ lbs in the bed at all times (thinking I was gonna throw a toolbox in). I ride unloaded and still think they ride great.

Thanks for the info. Seems like a fair price. How many leafs are in each leaf pack? My buddy’s ones before had A LOT, i think there was a bunch of soft leafs to allow lots of flex, but still could maintain the lifted stance (they both had lifted older toyota pickups, one was a 10” lift, one was 12”)

6 inch lift, ADS suspension, Alcan custom rear springs, 46 gallon metal gas tank, Full Line-x body, Wheels with 35's, Smittybilt bumpers front and rear, 10k warn winch, custom rack.
I would check locally first. I went to a local place and was quoted $430 for new leafs with a 500 pound increase. With install and alignment I was quoted $550. Full custom leaf for a 6 inch lift on my tundra. Plan on doing it next month to fix my driver side sag (48 gallon metal gas tank). Shop around and you might find a shop that does custom springs and they will be built and installed with full alignment for cheaper.

I have used Alcan on two different Toyota trucks, they are the best bang for your buck.

Go look at the springs on a new one in a parking lot or at the dealer, they are pretty much flat when new.

But the factory leaf spring is junk anyway. all three leaf spring is soft to give a softer ride and once you put any weight on the bed it will flatten out and ride on the overload spring.
