Eibach Spring or Rough Country spacers

2 yrs ago a shop charged me $500 to put this spacer on my 2016 crewmax to level it, and I feel like I paid too much.



This week I had the Eibach Pro Tuck lift system put in but I don't see hardly any change in my hight.

I just ordered some 18X9 -12 offset with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/70/18 and don't know if they will fit. Can I install the Rough country spacers on top of the Eibach springs and 2" blocks in the back or will that be a bad thing.

 

I've met people that've done that. However, it is highly not recommended.

 

Do you have a 2wd truck? I recall the Eibach being notorious for having a far to soft spring and not being able to provide the advertised lift height. 4wd trucks were even worse due to the added weight of the front end.

I have a 2WD. The shop that installed it said the only way they will install the spacers is if I set my struts to No. 1, which will be factory height and that will mean I just paid all these money for Eibach springs and struts for nothing.

 

Pretty much. I would try and return the Eibachs and go with 5100s or 6112s.

 

The longer eibach rear struts are actually made to accommodate a rear spacer OR shackle lift.

You absolutely can put a spacer on top of of a strut lift BUT you’ll will more than likely need an adjustable upper control arm to accommodate.

The only reason I can tell you’re not noticing a difference in height on the front is because of your strut setting.
I believe these struts have snap ring collars that offer different ride height settings by compressing the spring more. Double check what yours is set at.

Here is my eibach strut lift set at 2.5” in the front WITH a toytec spacer on top and SPC adjustable UCA. I’m also running 2” spacers in the back with the pro shocks.

 

I feel like it can be done, sounds like the trick is having the right UCA, shops here are scared to do this, they’re more interested in selling their lift kits

 

you have a 2wd. Just do a spindle lift. Better lift for a 2wd truck anyway and you’ll actually gain some ground clearance.

A spindle lift will make your front wheels stick out more than the rear though.
