Titles says it all. If you were able to acquire any brand new tundra, from any year, for free in 2020, what would it be? I would get a 2006 limited four door trd. I simply like the 1st gen better then the turd and 2nd gens. Edit: now that i think about it, a 2020 army green would be nice too lolol

For me it would be hard decision between the 2014 first year Inferno Pro ......or the 2017 Cement Pro

F8CE42B3-C72A-460D-8740-8A72C9D26720.jpg I think I would just get a new RGLB 1st gen honestly!

I got mine because I thought it was the ideal stature compared to the bigger and bulkier new models of everything that had and have been coming out and was a truly ideal size all the way around for me.

I still feel this way although I did buy a newer bigger version last week anyway as I could not get newer like the 1st gen.

Back then the whole notion of the Tundy was the "Right Size"!

Any of the below would work for me.

02 Ivan Stewart edition in black
    03 T3 in Jade Mica
05 AC Sr5 in Timberland Mica (I would convert to 4x4)
Any year second gen supercharged RCSB 4x4 in black

2013 Platinum in Radiant Red. By that year they fixed the air pump issues, and they don't have the 2014 Cam Tower Oil Leak issues.

    This ^^

I would want the last year produced 4WD V8 RCLB with the 5 speed AT, and the original front bumper with oval fog lights.

It would be a tough call if it were free but a lot of us really don't like the size or styling of the current generation Tundra. I simply do not need a vehicle that big. While the 5.7 would be cool, the 10-12 MPG reports would be tough to swallow.

I still would get a 06 1st gen. Because id like a tacoma over a new tundra because of size. But i want a v8. 1st gens are basically new Tacoma's but with a v8 baby!

Except that the current Taco also have a really uncomfortable seating position and layout to me too and the 1st Gen Tundy is much more upright for the Butt and Back which I find easy to live with!

The whole in between size of the Tundra is what sold me in the beginning and what I still like about them the most.

@ezdog Yup. I seriously think the 1st gen tundra is the best pickup ever made in history. For light duty at least.

I agree. I would get the first gen if it was new. If not then a 2020 and sell it to get one.
The 2 nd gen is to much like driving a battleship. And the least good looking full size truck of any brand.
In my opinion the 1 gen Tundra is the best looking pickup that was made. That I can get in a 8ft bed. I use mine as a truck
