They are nice. Saw one at overland east. The Bruder exp4 has made it to my short list.

That thing looks nuts. Way cool, but I am terrified to see a price tag.:(

My buddy paid $44,000 and some change for his. He got the EXP4. When he retires he will be over landing for a year or two. U.S, AK and Canada.

Yeah, I figure it's kinda one of those "If you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it" type of items. I'll stick to the little TT I've been eyeing. I don't actually need the capabilities this thing's got, but it sure is neat.

That thing is awesome! I’m also sad to say that it’s more capable than my truck...

they're having an overland expo up the road in loveland this year. might drive up for the day and see what's there.

what else is on your shortlist? i've got the off grid expedition 2.0 and the carp apache. both of the bruder's just made it too. me thinks the wifey would be happiest in the exp6...

How does your buddy like it? I would at the very least like to talk to him. I am in conversation with Bruder, but I would like to see or at least talk to some owners in the US.

He takes delivery of it in about 2 weeks or so. He ordered it back in January, before he deployed. he'll be back soon, I can pass your info on to him. PM it to me, I'll make sure he gets it.

I was ready to pull the trigger on the Patriot X1, but I kept drifting back to the Bruder. Patriot has just released the X3. Very nice and their trailers are very well built. We have narrowed it down to those two, exp4 and the X3. I did not see Bruder on the EXPO list, but it's still early. I am on the east coast but may go to Flagstaff or Loveland if Bruder shows up with an EXP4. Or I can talk to enough people. The EXP6 is amazing finish inside and out. There is nothing not to like about that camper. It is just two big for our needs.

okay. the x3 is pretty slick. the pop up coffee maker would be a great selling point for the wife but i don't think it outweighs the indoor bathroom of the exp6.

i am a huge fan of the pcor bed. it'd make studio life on the road much much simpler.

I agree with you. I love the pcor beds. I looked into that with the four wheel campers. Flat bed type that Mainline Overland sells out of Australia. But I would need to go to an F250. Yea I know everybody does it. But weight is important.

i'd do the 3/4 canopy but the weight is an issue for sure. curious as to how it's held up for the xoverland guys on their tundra. i wouldn't want a kitchen or tent with it. it'd be more of a space to work out of. power, storage, etc. trailer for sleeping and eating.

I asked him what their Tundra weighed. He claimed to not know, never bothered to weigh it:rofl:
