    Anyone aware what the Tundra incentive from Toyota will be starting on 3/3/2020?

    Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger tomorrow (3/2) before the current $2,000 rebate ends. Anyone aware the month(s) that Toyota traditionally has the highest rebates?

    Believe it's usually around July or August in prep on the new models being rolled out.

    if you have a decent working relationship with your dealer, they can tell you what the next quarter incentives are. when we bought our 2018 tundra, our dealer told us to wait a month and the incentive went from $750 to $1250..

    also to add, toyota's fiscal year runs from 4-1 to 3-31. so usually the best deals are just before april.

    I'm wondering about parts availability due to the corona virus. All it takes is one part or assembly that is only made in China or Japan and all of a sudden there is a shortage of finished trucks. I've been on the fence and just pulled the trigger on a Limited Double Cab. I could see the rebate going to 0 tomorrow.

    I just pulled the trigger on a 2020 Tundra Platinum. Will be my first Tundra. Coming back to the Toyota family after a brief stint with Ford.

    Tacoma --> 4Runner --> 4Runner --> F150 --> Tundra

    Looks like it basically went up $500 to either $2,500 or $3,000 depending on the region you are in.

    Considering I put down a deposit yesterday on a 2020 Platinum, I'll take an extra $500 off :)

    Looks like in my area the cash back went up to $2500 and / or dropped a percentage point on the financing deals.

    Has anyone ever been able to get Toyota USA to cut them a check for the difference in cash back if you bought right at the end of February? In my area it went from $2,000 to $2,750.

    not that i know of since the incentive goes to the dealer who then applies it to the deal. since the paperwork shows the 2000 on it that is what is honored, otherwise you would have to cancel the paperwork and start over which i imagine the dealer wont do since it already signed and in the books.

    Makes sense, always a good feeling knowing you could have waited two days and saved $750 more bucks. It could have always gone the other direction too though.

    We just bought a 2020 limited double cab TRD off road 3 weeks ago , we took the better percentage rate rather that the cash back .

    yeah the gamble of it dropping. hence the reason if you have a decent relationship with your dealer they can tell you what the next promotion amounts are and you can adjust.

    when we bought our tundra, they told us to wait a few days and the discount went from $750 to $1250. we picked up the truck on 4-dec instead of the 27-nov. we put $500 down on the truck to hold it until December to get the better discount. $500 down was a good faith transaction since they told us to wait until december.

    Interesting, I talked to a couple dealers and they all said that they wouldn't know till the morning of. They said if they knew they would tell us since it's not money out of their pocket. Maybe you've got the inside track! Either way, I'm happy with the truck. I did a fair amount of negotiating it down below the MSRP.
