    Dropped the 4Runner off yesterday to get the lower control arms put on. Wife was following me in the Tundra. I almost drove off the road three times admiring it in the rear view. Love my truck!

    Does it bother you when people second guess your ability to do a repair on your/anyone elses vehicle? Just curious. I'm really trying to see if that kind of stuff bothers men. I have come to expect that most men don't expect women to know how to repair cars until proven otherwise, but my husband still doubts me every step of the way with every repair or replacement and says he will get a mechanic to do it.
    Am I just being too sensitive or is he being a dick. (9 years together, successful repair and/or replacement of brakes, rotors, a new brake calipers, entire wheel hub assembly, brake booster, brake lines, radiator and hoses, power steering pump and lines. And a whole bunch of shit I'm sure I'm forgetting.

    Same here. I always laugh at guys who have women that can fix their stuff, or make more money than them.

    Hell, if The Woman even made the same as I do, never mind more, I'd be pumped. Even better if she could do the oil change, brakes etc on my truck. Less shit for me to worry about.

    I’d have no issues with it. I’m currently mentoring a upcoming supervisor, the first one I’ve ever taken on. She is the first one they’ve ever tried to push on me that shows a true desire to learn how to do everything. Chainsaws, tractors, equipment maint. Etc. Most of the guys they tried dumping on me had the, “I’m the supervisor, I’ll have staff to do that” mentality.
