At 6'7" I'm not ever likely to fit comfortably into a sports car, since they keep getting smaller it seems like. So I finally got the vehicle that had everything I wanted and upgraded to the 2020 Tundra TRD PRO Army Green. Nice throaty growl and a moonroof and the rear window slide down. Love it!

And now I'm opening it up for running or step board suggestions.

Awesome looking truck :) Not sure if you are going for the slider style or more of the nerf bar step look? I have the Raptors on mine and I really like them!

I just get confused as to what to call them. I'm going to be straight with all of you. She's likely to be a pavement princess with a little time on the beach, but I think the nerf option is more my style. Raptors are on the list!

Nice! I don’t have any running/step bars on mine yet... I was going with some cheap ones... then my dad said “you have a 50k truck and you going to buy $300 bars? “ he has AMP steps on his Sierra.. maybe the only thing that he’s told me that made sense !

Welcome. Put a set of Tyger bars on my truck this weekend. Liked the looks better than any others I considered so it was a no brainer after I factored in the price. Less than $300 shippped. Happy with them.

If you aren't going hardcore off road, and just want some good side steps/bars. Check out these Tyger Auto Textured Black Running Boards at Amazon = https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0G8HKA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I put them on my PRO and really like them. They are HEAVY, very sturdy, and won't hurt your wallet at $339. I especially like how they are all welded as one piece. Simply bolt on, and you are done. Perfect fitment.

Nice truck BTW, congrats. You are going to love it.

Sweet ride! My dream steps right now are the bedliner textured gorhino RB20s, they look great and good width and prevent door dings. Too bad my truck came with the oem running boards so I just can’t justify buying them yet

At 6’7” you need Running boards lol? All jokes aside I really like the amp research power running boards. When you open the door they fold down and when you close the door they fold up sight unseen. Looks much cleaner in my opinion than regular boards. They are pricey tho. Expect to pay 1k or so for the boards and I would recommend having them professionally installed. You can do it yourself but i imagine it could be a little difficult.

    oh and also welcome!

You would think I could just slide in. However the front is leveled up with the back now. I didn't think anything of it when I tried to get in for the test ride. I almost fell out. LOL!! Pricing is what I expected.

Im justifying them on mine lol..I dont like the OEM boards at all. The plastic inserts are already starting to lift off and I have a few spots of surface rust near the rear of the boards.
One thing on the RB20's is that Ive read a few complaints that the bedliner coating chipping off easily. Not sure if its a widespread issue but a few users here had some problems with it.

If you're not wanting some type of protection from the bars, AMP Research automatic are the cleanest in my opinion. Also, when folded up they don't take away from the perspective of the ground clearance.
