Is there supposed to be an "OD Off" indicator on the dash?

I rember my wife's 2003 Sienna had a indicator on the dash that would illuminate when the OD Off button was pressed. That van used the same column shifter as the Tundra, and although it's been a few years, I could have sworn the switch worked the opposite of the way the Tundra works: when the switch was in the "extended" positition (for lack of a better term), it was in normal drive/OD was active. You'd push the swith "in" to de-activate OD.

On my 2004, the O/D indicator is under the L(low) gear selection indicator even tho the face plate of the Instrument Cluster has the words Fuel Door !

I just went out and looked... sure enough it's there on my 2000 as well. The bulb must be out. Thanks!

Fuel Door Arrow indicates which side of the vehicle accepts the fuel. Its a universally accepted practice in all vehicles.

Overdrive off fuel door is a great option on any vehicle. :D

Almost as useful as the "shift-l" button on the 05 and 06.

Does the button actually work? As in does your truck actually kick out of OD when you press it.

Mine currently does not, one of the wires in the shifter broke and I haven't gotten around to repairing it.

Reminds me of last summer when my O/D light kept going on and off when I get close to button. After googling for a bit, found it was a common failure point whereby the insulation wears off wire over time, grounding wire and simulating button being pushed. Once I got things removed to check and repair, found that the previous owner had already been there o_O
