    One thing I miss from my time in Japan is there was no tipping at restaurants . If you left a tip you would get a puzzled look. I remember going to a fancy dancy pizza parlor in Tokyo where all the pizzas were named after American actors and actresses. I ate Candice Bergmen. (and no tip) :cheers:

    They don't tip in Japan (most of the time) because they receive that gratuity in their pay from what my wife has told me, I met her there my first tour in Japan. The ones that work on base usually will accept tips but going off base, my first time there, they refused to take it and that is where I later learned some wont take it and some will.
