where have they all gone? I have great running 07 with 400k miles. Shifts fine but codes pop up. If there are any interested in helping me answer back and I’ll explain how I cheat the codes til transmission warms up . Most say I need a new transmission and I reply then why am I still driving it and it shift and drives fine?

I’m sure there’s a simple issue that will fix it so I don’t have to hold shifter knob til transmission warms up.
    thanks.

P0705 & P0983. I just want to know why on a cold start the shift indicator does not light up unless I put forward pressure on shifter and hold it til transmission is up to operating temp. Then I shift to neutral and back to drive and light comes on like normal. If I don’t do anything on a cold start 4Lo light comes on and shortly after that all the other lights come on. Still drives normal up and down shifts are great. After about 7 ignition cycles all lights go out as long as transmission temp is at operation temp.

Could the "Park/Neutral" switch be going bad?

Well will that trigger the other code? Because that’s what happens
