Had to have a set of 4 BFG KO2s replaced under warranty due to not being able to balance them out. New set, aside from 1 tire having a touch road force, been great so far. I am though very pleased with the robustness/toughness of the BFG tires and the sidewall - strong MF.

Ok just got my LT295/70/18. Truck is all stock TRD Pro. These suckers barely fit but they fit with no rubbing that I've noticed so far (took off forward mudflaps).

I personally loved the OEM Michelin tires, they were smooth and quiet, and had plenty of tread for my all highway purposes, I don't offroad. Had they made them in the 295/70/18 size I probably would've went with them in the larger size but they don't make them. So I decided to try these.

    First impression:
Love the look and the tread pattern
A lot more road noise than the OEM Michelin ltx at2
Harsher ride than OEM tires(LT vs P rated tires?)
Notice slight less acceleration from the added tire weight

Overall: Gotta pay to play I guess:p

Have you checked at full lock? I had to bend the edge of the skid plate to eliminate a rub there. I'm running 1 inch wheel spacers though so that might be why.

I have not held a full lock in reverse yet, but no rub in Drive. Will test out more tomorrow on my way to work

Side question, how much psi should I be running in these LT tires? I've never had an LT before. I checked what the shop put in them and it's around 38

Discount set mine to 38 as well. Hoping that's about right but haven't had a chance to chalk test them yet.

Just an FYI, Falken does a 1-year road hazard protection plan with these specific tires. I found out the hard way when I blew one out on the highway after hitting something in the road at night when they were only 2 months old. I contacted Falken and they instructed me on what to do and I got a free replacement tire within a couple days. You'll have to go to a shop thats a Falken dealer for them to do the exchange but thats better than having to buy a new one out-right. I just wanted to share since I was unaware when i bought them that they come with that from the factory.

Alright found a tiny rub at full lock on the front sway bar. Very very minor though. Probably won't even exist after a few thousand miles lol

Also curious about 315/70/17 wildpeaks pressure. Shop set them to 38 I noticed when it sat overnight and I drove it first mile I got a little wheel shake. Thinking it was “flat spotting”? I put 42 in front seemed to help.

What offset are these wheels? trying to decide what to get. Looks like they're sticking past your fender? might get 285's with a new wheel with +20 offset but don't want them sticking way out

I just ordered a set of 18 inch TRD wheels for my platinum. I am getting rid of the 20's. I wanted more rubber and a slightly better ride. Gonna go with these in a 275/70 r18

Here are mine at 23K miles.

Quieter and smoother than the KO2's they replaced.

I've taken them on some rough roads, but not rock crawling, and slimy muddy roads and they did great.

That being said, the KO2's are still probably better tires, but you pay for that.

    If the KO2's are a 10 the Wildpeaks are a 9. It's just a feeling I have.

I have these mounted on my fancy new TRD 18 inch wheels. A much more forgiving ride than the 20 inch stock wheels. There was some slight rubbing on the skid plate at full turn. It took my tire shop a few minutes to bend it up and it’s fine now.

Good looking rig - similar to mine. I have had both BFG KO2s and Falken AT3s - I think ride quality and performance they’re about equal. Time will tell on tread wear. I had an F-150 With KO2s and probably would have had to replace them at 45k miles.

I will considered 275/70 vs 275/60 this fall but 275/70 only comes in LT version. I just use my truck as daily driver and wondering if LT will be to stiff vs P275/65.

I am in the same boat as you. I also have a work truck and just use my tundra for buzzing around. I took it on the highway and drove it around for a while today and the tires felt great and The size just lookS like it suits the truck perfectly So far no regrets. I will try posting some more pics
