    *UPDATE*
There was enough interest to make this product a reality. To all of you that purchased from @ICS FAB due to this post; thank you!!

    ————————————————————-

Many of you, like me, have little ones that need entertaining in the back seat. After installing my @ICS FAB dash mount, an idea came to me. What about one of those for the back of the center console?
I floated the idea to ICS and before I knew it they had a prototype in their demo truck.

Check it out by clicking here and get your preorder in to take advantage of intro pricing!
They are trying to meet a minimum in order to put these bad boys into production. It's now or never y'all!:curls:

Looks cool and all BUT if a kid is in a car seat no way in hell they are reaching that and if they are out of car seats they all want their own device. Just my .02

Options are endless. Not only for entertainment. Use to hold cups for back seat passengers, stop dogs from jumping over/sticking head into front, direct the vents better, ect. Its just a base plate. How you use it is up to you.

Might consider more rounded corners. Would be easy for kids or dog to get caught on an edge crawling in and out. Or just painful when kids get bigger and jave to slide into the middle of the seat.

I'd be interested to learn what all you are able to mount to this? Otherwise drilling (and losing that socket) for a one-trick pony isn't too interesting to me.

You lose that outlet or you just have to remove it for instal? If you used it for electronics you want that outlet for power. Seems odd.

Also, they need a video on website to show examples of how it works exactly. When center console opens, etc.

Still happy to see innovation and design occurring from a small company. I have the front mount and love it.

100% agree RE innovation and speedy design/reply to the market asking for something - VERY appreciated and impressed with that!

Just to be clear y'all, this isn't a product development thread, it's a preorder sale thread. ICS is a top notch company and will see these comments and possibly make changes on the design if needed, but the product has been designed and tested already. Seeing all this feedback is invaluable, and won't go unnoticed.

The console opens fully with this mount in place. I only have the two photos, but the second one in the OP is with the console lid open all the way.

The power outlet stays fully functional along with the AC vents. The whole back side of the console pops off with pressure clips making it easy to get in there to mount this. (There is drilling involved just like with their other mount)

To all that are confused what you can mount on this modular panel, check out rammount.com! Pretty much anything on that site can be mounted to this panel, from cell phones, to tablets, or even cup holders, cameras, gps units and just about anything else. The only limits are your imagination! :D
Scroll through few the dash mount threads if you need inspiration, this is a good one: https://www.tundras.com/threads/ics-fab-2014-dash-mount-ram-mount-compatible.38643/

Is there a difference in the center console between 14-19 and 07-13? If this fits my 2008 center console I will buy one.

    That's a wonderful question!
I'm like 85% sure the back part is the same, so it should fit :monocle:

    @ICS FAB any idea?

Bumping this. I ordered this and just got it in. Really impressed with the quality. However no instructions included. I'm guessing the washers go on the inside of the console. Does the console come apart in order to get behind it?

yes, washers on the back side of the panel, and the front panel pops off with a panel popper.

You can use a screwdriver if you’re careful. That plastic is awful soft though, so be very careful if you go that route :anonymous:
