2019 Tundra TRD Pro. No damage to body. It appears to have paint failure? This is my passenger side rear quarter panel. Truck has ~21K miles on it.

There is a current recall/warranty enhancement for all "Super White" and i believe the "pearl white " as well. For peeling paint.
    Check with a dealer

The Toyota white is a single stage...personally, not a fan of single stage paint. They will fix it for you.

I feel like a dealer would be like nah, your tire threw something up and caused it.

That sucks; I really hope Toyota takes care of you and doesn't try to use some excuse that road debris or something caused that. To me, that clearly shows a paint issue and nothing more.

That shouldn't matter, I would be on the phone to corp before he finished his sentence. Something may have caused the panel to flex there, but the paint still shouldn't just flake off. That represents totally inferior surface prep.

I've had my truck for about 2 months and it now has 1500 miles on it, with no gravel roads/off-roading, etc (just normal Ohio salted roads). I've got a few chips already in this same location around a couple of the wheels, though they haven't cracked the paint or made it bubble up yet.

The stock wheel well liners are simply not effective enough, and you can see it very clearly in this picture. The plastic covers some of the edge of the painted fender, and exposes the rest. In rust belt terms, that means the side panels of my bed will have holes in it within a few years if left neglected.

This summer I'll be touching up the paint there, and either using some type of clear bra strips to protect the exposed paint, or even installing OEM fender flares that I've seen installed on the Speed Academy youtube channel.
