how are you new to the form started modifying my 2017 tundra about to put in my rough country 3/1.5 level lift also gona upgrade the wheels and tires i have searched the forms non stop on what wheels and tires to run I'm going to run a fuel vector 18x9 but I'm not sure on what offset either +1 or +20 i would like a little bit of poke to have an aggressive stance also the two tire sizes I'm set on are either 275/70/18 or 295/70/18 I'm ok with removing front mud flaps and heating up the front liner and molding it but i refuse to do the BMC. any insight helps. also was told 275's might look weird on a 3/1.5 lift what do you guys think?

Yes the 275/70 will look too small. I have a 3/2 kit and had 275's initially. The +1 offset will bring you outside the wheel wells. I run the +1 and I'm just barely a tad outside of Bushwacker flares. Another tire option is the 285/70. It is a 34 and is about a half inch smaller than the 295, and 10 pounds per tire lighter. Here is my 13 with 18x9 +1 offset with the 3/2 lift and 285/70 Ridge Grapplers.

with your tire size do you have any issues rubbing on the body mount my fear with running +1 is hitting the body mount I was told the sweet spot on the tundras is +30 to +18

Any issues rubbing on either the Upper control arm or the body mount with that size?

    295.70.18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT with Vision Manx2 18x9 +12, 3/1 lift.
    Shim Bumper forward 1/2 inch
Remove front flaps behind the bumper
    Remove mud guards
Still rubs in full lock in driver side.

I am still shopping for a good lightweight replacment with +18 to +25 to replace the wheels with.

Thankyou for showing me this you may have just saved me from going with the +1 not trying to hit the body mounts or do that chop looks like + 20 might be it for me

What's your alignment look like? Can you get more caster and keep your camber/toe good? Could possibly push you off the body mount and not have to change wheels

No rubbing anywhere. Just removed the front mud flap and that was it. No BMC needed.

I had it aligned 3 times and all of t them claim it's in factory specs. I might consider taking it to another shop.

Yea, I wouldnt listentothe that haha. "Factory specs" can have you at like 1.whatever on caster and call it good. Can prolly push you into the high 2's even 3's and you wouldn't be on that mount anymore

295/70-18 with +20 offset, 3 " lift. Molded the front plastic a little an removed mud flaps . I don't feel it looks like to much tire..

By chance do you have any pics of your CV angles? Just trying to get a feel how mine are compared to others.

Here I went and snapped a pic . I don't think they look to bad. I did buy a diff drop kit. But after talking with a local shop I decided not to bother. The owner runs a lifted tundra all done up. His opinion was they don't really do anything. He's run his lifted over 100k miles without an CV issues.. Opinions vary ..

Perfect. Thank you. Mine might be a little more angled, just wanting to ensure I won't run into issues later.

With the amount of clearance you have do you feel you could have made the +1 work without any more modifications than you did for the +20 to fit I love the look of yours but would like a little more poke

My understanding is the +1 version of this wheel with this tire size more then likely would have had more fitment issues an potential BMC .. then again the body mount chop really isn't a huge deal.. if I had a welder I'd do it myself.. If you want more poke just spend a few hundred an get the Cab mount chop an get the wheels an tires you want.. otherwise you will just second guess yourself .

Anyone on here run a 33x12.50 on a 3/1 level curious on how it looks or if it just looks completely ridiculous
