So I just hit the 1k mark with my new gears. Just had the new oil put in. I asked when my new ones due from normal driving said 30k but they also stated Auburn’s don’t like synthetics. I got this done at Arizona Driveshaft. Pretty good place.

Good folks at AZ Driveshaft, that is the only place I have ever taken any of my driveshafts for work

    :ballchain:Rpms are roughly as follows
    2100-65
    2600-85

mpg just in case anyone asks, I lost about 1 hwy mpg. I’m now at 12hwy. I’m ok with it transmission is happy with it and it takes off.:burnrubber:
Higher speeds you kind of lose the passing power not as quick to go at around 75mph or so but hey no one needs to be doing 100mph.:mudding:

I love my 5.29's, I have not seen any problems with passing on the highway :mudding:

Yes the speedometer is right on point as well. I drive around 80-85 keep up with the flow of traffic lol if I was at 65 it’s another story.

First tank of gas as I am breaking in the 529s and Auburn. Averaged 13.4mpg which is just below my truck average of 13.7 before the gears. I am on 295/70/18 which is 34.3x11.7
My speedometer is still off by the same amount - 70 on the speedo, 72 per the gps

Break in period is over, have final oil and additive in now. Will be a while till i fill up again since i just installed a 46 gallon tank, but it looks like my MPG will be holding around 13-13.25. I have not floored it yet to when it shifts at WOT, but it does take off faster from a stop.
