    Hello Everyone,

This will be my first post here in this forum so please bear with me. I have purchased
a 2014 CM Platinum Edition 4x4. This is my first 4x4 that i will be putting a lift on
and need some advice. I previously had a 2007 CM SR5 and put a 2" leveling kit on it to bring the front up. I have read so many different setups here in these forums it is
    becoming confusing.

I would like to stiffen up the ride just bit as the current ride seems a bit to soft. What i am not sure of is what setting do i need to do on the front adjustable 5100's. I see alot of people use the 3rd notch but that was when they were going with just the Bilstein setup and not putting any other type of lift on their truck. I guess my concern is am i going over the top by putting both of these products on the truck would counter act the other or would both accomplish the same thing and not need both products. I was hoping to get about a 3-4" lift overall and will be keeping the stock 275/55/20 Tires, will upgrade later to a taller tire. I will not be doing any offroad driving other than going through the ditch when traffic backs up on the interstate or the beach. Can i get any comments or suggestions on whether i need both products
and if i have spent my money wisely.
So here is what i am going to do.

    ReadyLift 4"F / 2"R SST LIFT KIT

Bilstein 5100s All Around - Adjustible in front and 1" in rear.

It looks like the Ready Lift already gives you 4" of lift so I believe you would need to set the 5100's to stock height (lowest notch). FWIW you should check out Toytec Lifts. You can probably get a better lift for the $1000 you are going to spend on the Ready Lift.

Thanks for the feedback and yes i would have liked to gone with Toytec if that was within my budget. I got a steal on the readlylift kit and bilsteins for total of $850 so grabbed that deal. I had read in many of the threads that if you were to go over 3" you will need to change out the UCA so in order to not put added wear on the suspension parts.

Sounds good James. Make sure you come back and post some picks of the new lift after it is installed.
