I removed the blocking plate and reinstalled the helmholtz resonator.

The difference is night and day, my cat-back system is much more civilized, it's quieter and there's no drone - none. Sadly, the exhaust burble is virtually undetectable now, and I will miss that sound.

    Hey Y’all,

Been lurking on here for quite a while watching all of your awesome builds and getting ideas for my own, so I figured it was about time to add my input into the thread as well. I got my truck about 2.5 years ago now from my dad who switched parties and went to a 4Runner. Before I got the truck he had put on a Clifford Remote start system, an Undercover Tonneau, and in one of his least proud moments, the good old rock meet door mod on a camping trip.

Since I got the truck I’ve put a quite a bit more on:
    •White Knuckle sliders
•Rigid SR-M flush mount backup kit
    Weather Tech floor liners
•Rockville 12” slim subwoofer behind rear seat
•Waterproof led strips on the frame rail for puddle lighting and under the tonneau for cargo lighting
•CBI ditch light brackets with Rigid D-2 Flood pods
•300 Industries grill with 32” Nilight Spot/flood light bar
•DJI 4X4 8-Gang Switch panel and control box

I’ll add a few pictures up here to keep the post somewhat short but if anyone wants to see anything closer let me know.IMG_1487.jpg IMG_1497.jpg IMG_1500.jpg IMG_1782.jpg IMG_1784.jpg IMG_1785.jpg

I didn't do it "today", but here's the Sequoia TRD Pro grille on my 2013 MGM Rock Warrior.

Big thanks to @FilthyTundra for the part numbers/preview and @Roman for the excellent prices and incredibly fast shipping!

I added a TRD rear sway bar. Mine came packaged in plastic sleeves inside a box inside another box in perfect condition from Greene Toyota of Lexington. Needed a breaker bar to remove the frame bolts, but otherwise install was easy. Rear end definitely feels more firm with less body roll. I can take corners faster now.20200223_123230.jpg 20200223_123252.jpg

Install wasn’t bad at all, broke the 2 outer clips on my original grille and ended up not needing them since I removed the Toyota bug deflector. Lining up all the tabs for the top trim piece was the biggest pain in the ass to be completely honest, end result was worth it all. Easily the best 2nd gen grill option, even with the gap at the bumper.

Important to note, if you have an OEM Toyota bug deflector, your white clips are longer than the ones required for the grille without a bug deflector.

So far I like it. Easy to reach/see, yet out of the way for the shifter. It was mounted under the dash before and my knee kept hitting it. To make it even better it’s fully reversible if I want. The controller fits snugly in the factory hole for the ‘cubby’, so don’t holes drilled.

Skid plates came in today! Probably will wait until the weekend when I can do it during the warmer part of the day.

Also pulled off the armrest to put a new cover on, and add some foam. Make it a bit more comfortable.

I have the same problem. My knee hits mine getting in the truck sometimes. Nice too know that no holes are needed to drill. Thank you.

It’s a fantastic little piece of technology. Works every bit as good as a Tek without the cumbersome box hitting your knee.
