Gonna buy some fog lights from tractor supply and mount them to my frontier grille guard and wire them to where the switch where the inverter would be. wondering if anyone has any tips for getting it through the fire wall I'll take pictures before and after I sort it out

Open your hood and look at the firewall between the brake booster and the driver side fender. You'll see a rubber grommet, great place to poke a hole for wires to pass.

Y not get a new connector and wire to your fog switch! That’s what I did myself.

I have the double cab with the rear window switch/button unless you're talking about the switch on the the steering wheel

Do you have a fog light switch on the turn signal stalk?

There is also a grommet under the driver and passenger floorboard. I’ve used that spot many of times for accessories as well as the one on the firewall.

Fish tape is helpful as well.

I think some of the older first gens had the switch on the dash under the gauge cluster and I think at least some of those had the mirror adjuster on the door panel (the proper place in my opinion). The 05 and 06 I believe are on the stalk. Not sure if there's variation between those by model, but the 05/06 seem pretty consistent on features.

Used that one for my Amp steps and my bed LEDS...
But be careful on I think the driver's side.
The fuel lines run right underneath it..

Haha shoot ignore my ignorance. I thought u are using these as fog lights, not aux lights so I was referring to just wiring it in where the oem fogs connect. But if it’s on its own switch... just go they the boot where the oem wires go. Orrrrr you can pick up one of the wireless switch panels.. auto zone sells one called blazer and then there is the trigger versions. Send me a pm and we can talk options and such.
