Nice! You did the wifey system? What bracket did you use to mount the manifold?

Yes, similar to the wifey system used all DOT approved air break hose (probably over kill) as for the bracket made my own and used the Viair manifold since it has mounting points.

Finally was able to finish my air compressor install today now that we have had 2 unseasonably warm days in a row (yeah 50 degrees!!). Just wanted to mention that the compressor has been mounted in the engine bay for a few months and it's still absolutely solid ... no play and no wiggle room. Glad I purchased this!

Not sure it will work without the smaller air box

Question for you guys. I am going to keep my on off switch under the hood mounted by the compressor. Would it be ok to tap off the 10amp ign fuse from the under hood fuse box? Not worried about the back lighting on the switch. Thanks for any help.

Just saw this post! Sorry if it’s too late but replying for anyone else looking for this info.
Yes the single ARB compressor will bolt right up and clear the factory 2nd gen airbox. No modifications needed for the single compressor.
The twin compressor a 3rd gen factory airbox is needed to make some room for the larger compressor.

How did you attach the manifold to the mount?

Would I need both top and bottom portions of the 3rd gen air box to make the dual arb compressor on this bracket?
Just wanted to make sure I get what's needed when I order a bracket for my 2012. Thanks for your input!

Yes sir you will need both top and bottom of the airbox. That way the airbox will be sealed also for your engine! But the overall smaller airbox allows the room needed for the larger twin compressor.

Awesome, wasn't sure if the tops were interchangeable or not. Lots of peeps selling the tops of their air boxes on the internet (I assuming they converted to the TRD tops). Thanks for the info.

Anybody know if there is enough room to fit an SDHQ windshield fluid relocation tank next to the compressor using this mount?

I was wondering the same thing. I think a single would fit better than a twin.

I couldn’t get the mount to fit. I have the SDHQ washer fluid tank relocation kit and there isn’t enough room between the reservoir and the small black box that’s in there. One of the mounts legs needs to fit in the space between the reservoir and that box.
