What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I swapped out my chrome mirror caps and door handles for black ones that a fellow member here graciously gave to me. Slowly working on chrome delete.

 

For sure making it longer would be better...it took me a couple of tries to make sure I had it secured

 

That looks great. The black is a great contrast to the body color

 

Lucky you! I just had to purchase mine today.

 

But I also got the drivers side oh s*#t handle, wireless phone charger for center console, Trd Pro grille and Morimoto XB headlights. Love pumping that tax return back into the economy. Should be a fun few weeks of install.

 

I already have the driver's side handle. Will be looking at grill options down the road. My phone doesn't have wireless charging, so that saved me some

 

Added some Westin Thrasher running boards. I didn't see much of any posts about these previously and was planning on getting a set of Black Rhino RB20's down the road, but found these on Amazon for ~$160 and went for it.

Overall I'm pretty happy with them, quality appears to be good, brackets were beefy and everything went together well. They still have a set listed at this price for a double cab, if anyone's interested:

I took my wife for her first ride in the Platinum. She was super stoked to ride in the beast.

Hit the 5k mark and installed a tonneau cover. Did all that before cutting down 9 trees the next day. Don't mind the massive/blurry picture of the Odometer.

 

Gave her a wash realizing it's prob the last time washing her at stock height. Also screwed around with a piece of vinyl I had lying around on my lift I'm putting on Friday. Not sure I'll keep it, but it's under vehicle, so it's not out in the open.

Where did you get the shift knob? I was planning on getting tundra trd knob friday but now plan on the taco knob. Threads align good?

 

I have to say, despite the positive reviews on here and elsewhere I was a little nervous of quality on Tyger steps, mainly bc of the price point.
These things are well worth every penny. The construction is super solid, and the finish is WAY better than I expected and WAY better than other brands I've seen in person that cost 2x as much.
Instructions say "use a helper"

 

Took advantage of 4wp 50% off sale on LRG's and picked up some 20x9 with 0 offset. Couldn't beat $500 for new wheels

 

Ahh, they are so nice looking when new!

 

Pulled the trigger on one of these about 15 minutes ago. It’s was $649 plus tax so $704.87 with free two day delivery. Seems to have good reviews. I’ll let you guys know after I install it. I’ll take pics as well.

Installed a roll up Tyger tonneau cover that I bought from Amazon for around $200. Took about 45 minutes to install and most of that was just figuring the setup. Probably a 15 minute job the second time. Good quality and will work well for my needs.

 

@Dgjman Take a look at my post a few post backs (Posted this morning) I got the same one and installed it on Friday. The cross bars are arched up which will prevent water and some snow from building up. I can take a level picture in a little bit when I leave work so you can see how much it's raised. Overall though, for $200, it's a nice cover.

Anyone know how you get rid of this blue haze? I don't have the luxury of vehicles sitting in garage, vehicles outside 24/7 365

 

Trying spraying this on a rag and wiping it it. On thing is O'Reilly's Auto Parts is the only place that sells it.

 

Added a few Diode Dynamic lights to the front bumper.

then I added a new shifter knob.

and finally, washed off all of the grime from the last few weeks!

 

I was actually going to suggest this as well. I have used it and it does pretty well. And yes....O'Reilly is only place that carries. Can get by the gallon too is ask for it. They keep behind counter/in warehouse. About $30/gal.

 

Added some window vent/shades and a bed rack. Rack will be used for kayaks or our Thule box top to keep clothes and bedding dry when we head out camping.

 

Step rails....(APS drop steps from auto anything).
