Just saw Wal-Mart has their Optima red and yellow top batteries on clearance if anyone needs one. Didn't check sizes.

    Projectors are fun aren't they!

Edit- the picture I'm trying to attach isn't working. My relatives have terrible internet service!

Nope, my fog light switch is very much OEM. My brother’s 02 has the same thing. That little red LED is aftermarket, and my light pod switch.

So is that red LED in mine an OEM feature? I didn’t think I had an OEM security system.

When I was cleaning out my truck today, I noticed a bunch of wires and connectors under the front seats. Anyone know if 2005 doublecab TRD Off Road SR5's came prewired for power seats?

This is my switch configuration, I have a power sliding rear window. I replaced the cigarette lighter with a dual port USB extension from the Pioneer head unit. 1 is for Apple Car Play - I connect my ipod. The other is for Android Auto for my phone.

I have the same switch config.
So is there a kit for our trucks to replace the cig lighter or what? Cuz that looks pretty flush

Yes. Maybe... Or it's just the seat belt sensor.

Not a kit. I something like this, it plugs into the back of my head unit. If you just want power, there are ones that hook to 12 volts instead.

So you just removed the cig lights and stuck that thing in it's place? Neat.

My head unit has (2) usb ports so I used the product mentioned above, removed my cig lighter and used this in its place. Works great.

(i just placed the lighter in the other 12v spot during the install. It's in the trash now :)

just to clarify - I meant that rocker switch was aftermarket. I thought that was @lsaami 's fog light switch - missed the fog button on the left.
So it's clear now, my oval blank is for power sliding window. - anyone have a switch laying around? I'd rather a dead switch than a blank.
Rectangle blank is for security system. I'm going to replace that with a double USB that should snap right in. Hopefully cords don't stick out enough to catch my fingers when turning the wheel. Ordered it last night, should get here about the same time as warm weather. Thought I ordered green volts readout, but seems I ordered blue. Probably won't see it behind the wheel, but annoying it won't match.

Sitting here reviewing the 2002 Maintenance Log. I started a fresh one back in summer 2018 and inputed all the cobbled various fluid changes and service work prior as best as possible. Outside of a failed coil pack and rear axle seals all service work was either factory recall stuff (ball joints/02 sensors) or fluids and tires/brakes.

So basically, I have 1.5 pages of boring inputs and then starting in 2018 there are 5 pages of additional notes until now.

Forecasting out longer term there is not much else to do on her for another 30k miles or 3 years. Except for rear leafs but those aren’t urgent. It would be nice to get some new, but the world won’t end. Not sure I am wanting to DIY this job anyways

Pretty stoked on all the work performed so far and how well the truck is running. Thanks to everyone who helped out on this site. Much appreciation!

Oh right, it could be that. Or the airbag sensor. There do look like some unused connctors. Maybe all of the above.

My dad, used to be religious about marking in his gas mileage/maintenance log. I remember my parents getting in fights because my mom didn’t fill out the log when she filled up his truck. He didn’t have to many maintenance lines because they were older toyota pickups that didn’t need to much usually. Come to think of it, I don’t think he ever really studied it afterwards or looked for anomalies. I found a cool leather bound birch paper booklet(looks like something a witch would have spells written down in) and I put big maintenance items/oil changes/tire rotations/fluids, but it’s also a log for family trips; we mark the date, miles, where we went, and then one good memory, one bad/not so good memory and one funny memory
