Bumper Shims with 35x12.5x18

Has anybody needed to install bumper shims for 35’s even though the plastic is trimmed?

I already have the bumper plastic trimmed and the 295x70x18 Cooper STT Pro fits great but I want to swap tires from the Cooper’s to 35x12.5x18 Nitto Ridge Grappler’s for daily driving.

 

How much lift do you have? What's the width and offset of your wheels?

 

I installed the shims so I didn't have to trim the plastic. I did however do a chop. Details below in my build thread.

 

Already did the chop and trim for the 295’s. Guessing I’ll be fine for 35’s. Might order the shims just in case.

 

3” from ToyTec Boss Aluma 2.5’s. Wheels are Method MR312 18x9 +18


It is actually trimmed more than that.

 

The shims are ordered but not sure I’ll need them. Just a little rub in reverse at full crank. So much smoother and quiet.
