There are some inexplicable things in this universe...but nothing is more inexplicable than the "hick-hop" music genre...

Two words "overhead shelving". I am still working on mine and it is saving my bacon on space. Damn double cab truck is longer than it looks.

I started out not using the cable supports and I couldn't stand the way it looked. Now I'm switching all of them to the cable supports everywhere except the ends.

It drives me crazy when people don't post a pic of the engine on vehicle sales ads. Especially when it's supercharged, I wanna see the proof haha.
So many idiots on Craigslist will say it's a manual when it's clearly auto or that is a v8 when it's a v6 etc. So I like to see it for myself. I saw a Nissan Pathfinder that claimed to be supercharged and it even showed the n/a engine. Makes me wonder if the seller is trying to attract attention or if they're just dumb and really think it's got a superchsrger hiding somewhere lol

Maybe it has one of these: https://www.amazon.com/PTNHZ-RACING...a-842474410507&psc=1&ref=&adgrpid=84812084855

But...on the Supercharger note--what changed from 2002 to 2003 that causes the early blowers to be different? Have seen several that had the TRD sticker that says "not compatible with 2003 models". At least on the Sequoias.

This Mityvac has proven to be the worst purchase I've made in a long time. Tried to bleed the brakes on the Rav4 with no luck. It just doesn't stay latched on the bleeder valve good enough to maintain a vacuum.

In hindsight, I should have purchased a pressure bleeder of some kind.

Or they label it FWD instead of 4WD (tricky tricky). Crew Cab instead of Access Cab. Recall Performed instead frame not replaced. Dealership has done all the work (means nothing because they don’t do everything and only do what is easy and makes money).

These trucks at this age are similar to boats. They require tons of TLC is bring them back. Sure the engines last forever, but everything else needs love.

This is very true. My truck hasn't rolled 100k just yet but I have recently spent $3,000 and I'm not done yet

Plan is to put the hard plastic D-Ring Bushing back on the Steering Rack this afternoon. Hopefully its a less than 30 minute job. I didn’t size up the new and old bushings side by side before putting them in last week, but I plan on doing so with the D-Ring today. Hoping on a bit firmer road feel to come back to the truck. I think it will based on Himalayan Sensei Tactile Sensory Memory Technique.

That's unfortunate. I feel bad for mentioning mine when you were thinking about getting one. Mine actually has been run hard and put away wet for at least 5 years now and it's still ticking. Maybe they aren't what they used to be or maybe one of us got really lucky/unlucky.
I agree it probably is. After selling my prerunner I was thinking about an SUV to use as an off road vehicle/ family hauler when my tundra is in pieces, but I would have a hard time passing up a supercharged access cab. Although I'd probably rather go with an f150 in that case because the engine choices can make similar power to the non vvti 4.7 with a supercharger and the back seat in the extended cab is very similar to our double cabs. Oh and the aftermarket for the f150 is huge. I can buy a single raptor lower control arm, model it, fixture it, and make my own set from that and have a pretty nice suspension setup.
    Plans within plans.

How much (minus the housing assys) did that lighting kit run? If I may ask.

Let us know how the acme projectors work out? I've been checking them out lately and they look good for the money. So far I have a set of nilights on my truck and a set of yufanya that I'm building now. I might like the yufanya a little better so far. The bulb alignment seems closer out of the box, but time will tell.
What brand bulbs did you go with?

Honestly the tool is well made and seems fine. I just can't get the little cap to stay tight enough on the bleeder valve. As soon as I crack them open I lose pressure. The videos I watched online say I should remove the valves and cover the threads in Teflon tape.

    So don't feel bad.

Call them. Speak to tech. assistance. Maybe they have a suggestion, or maybe they will say 'that shouldn't happen' & send you a part or an exchange unit.

My shrouds required shroud rings (not included above) $10) to convert from 3" to 2.5".

I have it all installed. Wiring harness was awesome!

Just have to level the lights tonight and should be real nice

    Access Cab Issues...
Went to see if the Tundra had an empty rectangular blank I could pop for a dual USB plug insert.
I only find one on the dash, not where I was expecting:
    20200222_195728 (2).jpg
Left side of the column. (I know bad place for controller.)
It will work there, just want to plug in dash mounted crap.

But what was meant to go there?
and what would go in the oval blank?
and why do I have a rear defrost button on a truck with no defrost grid on the rear window?

2003 Access Cab, tri-pane rear manual sliding window.
