What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

So it turns out this grill insert is far from a one man, quick job after work. So now I have no grill in my truck until saturday :-/

That was by far the easiest thung I've done on the truck. Switching out my map interior lights for LEDS was harder lol.

 

What size tires do you have 33x12.50. ???

Woke up at 5 AM and installed this in the dark...ha. Came out bad ass. I'll get better pictures this weekend but you get the jist of it...

 

Looks very clean. So you just bought the inner grill and put it basically on the TRD color matched surround?

 

Actually it was the platinum grill surround. But yeah that's the general concept Wes

 

Cool. That blue really pops on there. Not sure it would have the same impact on the silver. Wish it didn't have that DB logo, but I guess it makes sense. Truck is kick ass.

exactly what I though also. I told my wife that I needed a few hours to do this alone and once I started, there was no turning back. She was a good sport about it. I was able to get mine done in about 3 hours all together by myself. If there is 2 people, it's easily an hour job. Love the look of the color match man. Sweet truck.

I agree with you on the DB logo but it would still look good on a silver I know they make them with the insert back lit im thinking that would look really good on the silver but then you still have that DB logo to deal with I wonder if you can request to have it made without the DB

 

I think the white letters would look really good on silver.

 

To be perfectly honest, it was a little challenging for me. Danny from DB Customz was incredibly patient when I was asking for help. Once I figured it out, I felt a little stupid though lol.

Those lug nuts are definitely not cheap.

Added these yesterday. Currently awaiting the fronts. Its amazing the difference with just the rears in one day!! Truck just feels more solid.
