Expounding on what you feel they dropped the ball on would be good. Otherwise, I've been an American car guy forever, and threw in the towel. AAAALLL my friends with whatever new truck seems like shop time is a normal thing. They say if you can afford the truck you can afford the price, but many seem to be in the shop half it's life - F6ck that! All my friends with Yotas, only change oil and breaks and drop 300k miles on them. in the Navy, I had a 76 Corolla with 450k miles on it in Sicily. I rattle canned a new paint job on it and sold to the next guy on the duty station. It was a great $400 dollar car.

There's 1/8 of a dead buffalo in each bottle and instead of water they use buffalo tears during the distillation process.

I came from 25 years of driving 2 GMC Sierra's. If I have any complaint about my 2019 Tundra it would be the seats too. They are harder than I prefer and they don't surround you like I prefer. But I have gotten used to them and now I like them better than my old GMC. I get in the GMC and I think "wow this seat is way to soft". Funny how you get used to something. As for lack of keeping up with the tech of the other mfg's, I think that is why the Tundra is so reliable. I don't need a lot of tech but I do need reliability because I keep my vehicles till they die. I hate car payments.

She puts more miles on a hairstyle in reverse than you do forward.

Read most of the post's and was wondering if you feel you drive more in reverse than all of us. Because, unless you are using a tundra running hot shot ( not really doable), than probably not. You claim you run a pilot car service and do over a thousand miles a day. Last I knew the OD/OS guys we considered solar powered drivers. Sun up to Sun down. Kinda hard to get 1K a day. Knowing you were putting so many miles on a vehicle, Why not buy the basic/cheapests model and customize to your taste. Most hot shot drivers I know pull back seat and passenger seat out. You could have a aftermarket lazyboy seat installed. Yes, radio suxs for most of us. Wife had no problems with the tundra radio. I hated it, so new head unit, amp, speakers, matting, and subs.

I haven't read much of this thread, but I'd wager that none of the attacks on her appearance are personal. I mean, does anyone actually know her?:monocle:

I mean, there's a lot to question here:

    • Is that really the OPs picture?
    • Is the OP really a woman?
    • Does the OP really own a Tundra?
    • Is anything on a forum personal [or does it just FEEL personal]?
    • Do online admonitions really change forum members' behaviors?
    I could go on ...

P.S. If any puppies are being killed in the creation or continuance of this thread, I will change my tune.

P.P.S. On a related note, I heard Russians started this thread.

Tundra or GMC diesel with Allison trans.
    Rest are no-no :lalala:

I would suggest a diesel to anyone who drive 100K miles a year!
