The calipers (came with springs) are sold individually in L and R. Not pictured are the High Dolla Shim Wow Toyota shims $40. My old front brakes never shuttered, but I bought these shims to be proactive with the upgrade. Used Sil-Glyde liberally anywhere I could except the pads surface.

I see a lot of that style of wheel and I don't get it. It's like they intentionally try to make the most complex wheel design and it just ends up looking like a spider web where the spider was drunk when he made it.

    These wheels haunt my dreams.

Yeah. And they want me to pay $12k for a truck with special rims and a 2.5” lift. Hahahah

Same grampa truck a few listings down is around $7.5-8k.

I only put the pic up because of the asking price. Not because I like the rims. This is an AC asking DC prices.

:fistbump: I despise those wheels. A TW member had em and they used to post tons of pics and it was so gross. And then my next door neighbor put a set on his f250 and when he invited me over for a beer one day I told em how much I hated his wheels. He's since put a much nicer set of solid black wheels on

Not sure why I'm even asking but who makes them? I see this style all the time, especially on shitty diesel trucks with bro lean.

Been looking at the cross section of my old brake line in amazement.

The only part I cut into for a cross section observation looks to have a split developing from inside.

    Nope. The main chick.

I’m hoping it’s just a coil pack. We’ll see. There’s a very noticeable miss that makes it borderline undriveable.

I like simple black wheels. And 16-17” on these trucks are the sweet spot. Any bigger and they usually look off to me.

[IMG] Reorganised my top drawer at work. This is photo here shows why being a mechanic is an expensive endeavour. No student loan debt for me. But sure as hell got tool truck debt!

Shit there's millennials that can afford new trucks?? I sure as hell can't. But it's ok because I don't like new vehicles for the most part over the last 10+ years. I like the cars and trucks I grew up around 80's-2000's

Yea, haven't you heard? They are entitled to those trucks.

Even though technically, I'm a millennial, the most millennial thing I do is not identify as a millennial...

I always laugh when boomers and gen x'ers make fun of millenials.

Guess who raised said Millenials?

Half the shit we see making fun of generations is just propaganda by the media to pit us against each other even more. And judging by the age poll done here recently, this forum is primarily dominated by older people. I don't know any millenials buying $45k trucks.

Same, I certainly fit some of the stereotypes. But I grew up identifying with Gen X

Come spend a day in the Permian basin with me. Every single truck on the road is a Platinum/Denali/Longhorn edition 3/4 ton.

25 yr olds spending 75k on a truck just to push out the tow mirrors and park it in front of a run down rental house.

I can barely pay rent on my wages unless I get OT. Owning a new vehicle is never in my future regardless of my income. The high cost, depreciation and cost of repair on new cars is outrageous. I'd rather save that money for a house
