I’m new to this forum. I would like to do a lift on my Tundra so that I could fit bigger tires and I am thinking of a 3-5 maybe 6” lift. As well as switching out my shocks to the 5100 Bilsteins. I am open to suggestions and referrals of websites and which kits to go with or stay away from. Or if there’s other suggestions on how to go about it. Was thinking of maybe doing the install myself with a buddy who’s good at mechanical tasks. I do have access to a lift machine and tools. thanks in advance.

OP, what's your budget and what's your intended use for the truck? Mild offroading? Pavement driving only and looking for height and stance? Go fast offroad? Technical stuff? Click the forums tab and scroll down to the suspension subforum and look around, hit the search bar and dig some more, lots of info in here, and welcome to tundras.com

Im just playing. Stage 2 is okay, the 2.0 rear is meh. OME 6112 is good and affordable and can accomplish most all needs. Could throw in an upper control arm for under the stage 2 icon

I have the 6112 and 5160 setup and love it. Have not had any issues and it eats up frost heaves at speed (sometimes you miss one) and I mean big ones, like it’s nothing at all, and it surprises me every time. My only complaint is the couplings for the hoses on the 5160’s developed surface rust rather quickly. Which is an annoying little detail at that price point.
