Are you guys using the p5flash V1.2.2.exe he sent out? He sent it with my last tune in December. I will try to attach a link.

Yes, @OVTune is this something we need to request if we have 4:88 and 37s?? The reason I ask is 4:88 and 37s is really close to stock 32s and 4:30

Yes if you have different gears you need to let us know so we can update your tune for it.

you need to use the most up to date version of p5flash, which is 1.3.1, but any version higher than 1.2.1 will work. We send 1.2.2 out with tunes. Redownload it

Thank you for the quick response. I sent an email to zendesk and requested the update for 4.88 gears and 37" tires. As a reminder, I also have the follwoing options on my tune:

    Long Tube Headers
    6000 rpm red line
91 octane and also a second base tune for 87 octane (just in case Im in the sticks and cant find premium gas)
    Remove throttle limits in 4wd

    Thanks!

Is anyone running Two separate tunes 91/87 or 93/91 by switching with Tow/haul?

OH, nice! I thought that maybe this was still more in the planning stages.

Likewise, when it's available for my ECU....

This would be nice, as I do have 93 available, but 91 is more prevalent when I travel to the West coast. Would be so easy to just hit tow/haul without flashing.

I'll send Zendesk an email to see if my ECU is supported. Plus, with the Harrop SC, I'll have to see if this is plausible. Would be nice!

Really... well doesn't that suck all. GRRRR! Mine does not feel any different than before the flash... at all. I will try to flash again tonight with the same file see if anything changes. It said successful when it completed. Very disappointing. I do not have any of the features either like the instant shifting, gear lock, etc..

I didn't add those things to your file...…….. I corrected the gear ratio on it.
Those features are not ready yet on 2018 ECUs. I'm working on it.

    Order 5199

I have emailed the .CUW file for the most up to date calibration ID (3YWF8900).
I do not have the .CUW for 3YWF4800 because it is an older calibration and the only way I can install it is a backwards way of installing Bullydog and then uninstalling it.
I have discovered that when BD is uninstalled, it does not return your truck to the calibration ID that was in it before the install, but the calibration ID that they have on their server.
I have also attached all the possible calibration ID's for 2007-2013 trucks and what they update to when supercharged.
I can get you any .CUW file that is in blue, just let me know.
Cannot wait to get your flash finally so I can run the 65mm pulley and 750cc injectors with a 7000 RPM redline and fast trans shifts :)

    Thanks.

    Viktor

That is a bummer, were you experiencing strange shifting? The new tune for me has corrected all of my shifting so far

How do you know it did not take? did you test any of the issues you previously had to see if they are still there?

I'd be afraid I'd kill my motor. I had a high compression NA 350Z that blew out a piston. Machine shop that built it blamed the tuner. (not sure that was true)

I have not been in a situation to run any of those type of tests, Air Force One landed yesterday and the traffic was terrible. I have one hairpin turn I go through everyday on the way to work and slowing down for the first turn is always a quick downshift and high RPM's until I get my foot into it going into the curve. It was the same after the new file was flashed so I will flash it again. The main problem was the quick shifting in some gears and rapid down shifting when stopping quickly in traffic. I have an appointment tonight after work but will go out for logging data tomorrow.

There was not a note in the E-mail on what to log so I will repeat what was done previously.

Thanks for the updated file Matt, I will get some seat time in this weekend

    wait what :eek::eek::eek:

I wouldnt want to touch the ignition and AFRs, but does this mean we will be able to adjust shift points, or red line, or the stupid throttle limits in 4wd???

Another question @OVTune would the self tune version be something that we could take to a dyno tuner and have them work up a truly custom tune???

Or would it be limited in some fashion?

    A) Thanks for the new file!
    B) I said in my response with new logs it felt worse, I guess it needed more "reboots" because it felt awesome this morning!

    Thanks!
