I need some recommendations for mud tires. I have ridge grapplers on now but I need something more aggressive.

In Florida the Toyo rt and mt are real popular and do well in the snotty stuff. The at2 get pretty slippery once worn more than half way, the rt are better when worn and still pretty good on the road. The mt are pretty badass as far as on road/mud tires if you don’t mind the hum. If your not worried about tire life on the road super swamper tsl are where it’s at. If your driving in soup..

10 ply Mud tires with good sidewall strength +
Good, aired down on sand; so far, good in the rain on pavement; not too loud.

I haven’t any experience yet with how they do in snow, ice. But that’s not why anyone buys mud tires....

I like and have the Yokohama Geolander MTs love them do good in mud and snow also like BFGs mud terrains but they are pricey son has Nitto trail grapplers on his 2500 Ram IMO these are junk he has About 18000 miles on them and they look like they have a 100000 miles on them. Nitto says oh well that’s wear and tear. Don’t think we will ever buy Nittos again. Nitto is in with Toyo so that’s why I never considered them when I bought the Yokohama’s.

I currently have Toyo Mt’s and have actually been really happy with them but they are pretty expensive. In less than a week my methods and atturo trail blade mt’s will be on the truck.

Really liked my general grabber x3's, good performance in mud when I needed it, decent wear (down to 11/32 at almost 20k miles) just heavy lol. Have cooper stt pro on now and havent had an opportunity yet to really test them but so far so good

Redryder, I have a set of 33/12.50/20 Toyo MT I just took off my tundra. they have 15,000 miles on them. Like new, with no patches or plugs or anything. Went with Ridge grapplers instead. I am in Louisiana also, let me know if you are interested, we can work something out. Thanks.

My buddy got 60k out of his Nitto Trail Grappler on his 2500 RAM diesel. I'm having those installed today once the dealer is done with installing my 6112's.

When I had my Disco II I ran Pro Comp Xteme M/T 2s. Pretty quiet, descent mileage out of them for an M/T.

this is what I would get. If you want one of the most aggressive MT/off road tires then get the Goodyear MTRs but if you do I hope you have a good stereo. Discount Tire put some on one of my Tacomas accidently once. I ran them for a month and beat the crap out of them on the hunting ranch.
