I wouldn't do it either man. What the hell do you do if you change your mind about it down the road?

Drilling holes in the roof = leaks GUARANTEED!!!!!!!!, then it's a nightmare and a costly one at that!

I thought about that but I don't see myself changing my mind. I mean, I live in the middle of the desert and I would actually use it, aside from the other guys who get it because it looked cool in some magazine or on a show truck. And if it came down to it, I'd just take it all off and fill the holes. But I have been contemplating a roof rack that will have a bar in the front and back with 4 cubes, 2 on each side. Still going to do a 40in single row in the hood bulge and a 40in behind the grill. I'm trying to fry zombies man lol.

the rivets are mainly just for looks. but the bottom rivets, every other one is there is a clip on the other side which I used to bolt the grill to the surround I had to cut out.

I know it Joon. Only reason it's on is for the color matched surround. I can't stand looking at it though. Can't wait to get this new one on!

Dan, how was it cutting the grill up? Not too bad? I'm a little nervous about doing that with mine but it has to be done

How were these to install? I don't have much electrical knowledge. Is it all pretty plug and play? Hoping to have some time to do mine this weekend

    Yes, it is all plug-n-play.
Call technical service at V-leds so the guy (Ilan?) can tell you exactly what you need to order and how to install. He is very good.
Customer service is good on that company.

Oh, I run the "dim" cable that comes with it to a "add a circuit" (you buy this on the auto stores) and taped the head lights fuses with a 5A fuse for the LEDs.
So when I use it at night it will dim and not blind the others.

Considering swapping my stock Toyota 18" Steel wheels for stock Toyota 18" Alloy Wheels.
Does anybody know if the TPMS Sensors and Lugs are interchangeable on this swap out?

*Rolling on the floor laughing* That's a good one, by the time I drove to you, you could install it yourself. I understand not wanting to drill into your truck that was hard for me too. I didn't like defacing her but once you're done I think you'll forget all about the drilling that occurred.

Actually, the TPMS is not interchangeable between steel and alloy wheels. They have a different angle.

It is a different TPMS sensor on the alloy wheel. You can use the steel wheel sensors but you have to be delicate on the tire swap out. Discount tire broke 3 of my sensors and they had to put in new ones on their dime. Steel wheel lugs will not work on the alloy wheel. The alloy wheel lug looks strange on a steel wheel, (your spare), but they do work, just not the other way around. I went through this with my truck, but the wheels I bought included the lugs. Good luck.......

Atleast if you sell your old wheels, they'll be easier to sell and can recoup some of that money back.
