I'm trying to find a shop that I can trust to install a Toytec 3/1 lift in the Northern NC/Southern VA region. Anywhere from Raleigh to Richmond. Just want someone I can trust and will do it right. Any of you guys have any suggestions?

my wife will lose her $h!t if she reads this but if you're in Raleigh and want to do it yourself, you're welcome to roll over to my place in Durham and i'll give you a hand. Just did something similar for my buddy's 4R, hence the wife losing her $h!t if i give up another weekend, i have the tools here to do your lift.

I appreciate the offer man. I might have to take you up on that. You have an alignment shop nearby?

there's one about 1/2 mile down the road, they're pretty nice - i had my camaro aligned by them and asked for it to be waaaaaay out of factory spec. They didn't give me any grief about liability if they don't conform to factory - a refreshing change from most places

i'm stocking up on Karma... i'm convinced we're all one dumb decision and some bad luck away from hard times. Hopefully lifting a truck will build up my karma bank for if/when i make that dumb decision

You may have an interesting past. But at the very least the Tundra Gods will bless you.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
More components to mess with on the 4R. Just a front coil lift and blocks in the rear and front diff drop isn't bad at all.
Adding shackles and bushings to the mix just need the extra bearing press to get the stock bushings out.

I'm going to go with shackles in the back. It doesn't sound too bad. Haha
