Yes. Unless you dont want to get the maximum from all the $$ you just put into your suspension.

Undo it on both side of ther links, push it up and tie it with three bungee. So, when you think you need it again it's still the just need to bolt it back up.

Remove it! I removed mine the other day and it was night and day. Can't believe how soft the ride is now....and I have a spacer lift.

Awesome thanks for the feedback guys. I’m guessing I’ll have to take off the skid plate to slide it out lol

I got my bar off without removing skid plate in pretty sure. At most I loosened front bolts or took just front bolts off of skid it’s night and day.

    Alot of them
The ride is softer with it off? I have the Readylift 3/2 and the TRD bar on the front and rear.

With the swaybar transfering energy to the opposite side it is "preloading" the springs even more than just spacers. When the bar is removed it almost feels like the spring rate is lighter.

Would it make a difference with 5100’s on top setting?

It will give you better travel/independent articulation. It will also change the body lean in corners.

Will it lean more? Now with 5100’s top setting, it rides stiff and doesn’t lean in corners. I’d like a little softer ride out of these

Not a tundra, but I broke both sway bar links on my Dodge 2500. For lack of technical terms, I could feel more lean and a softer feel in the front end around corners.

Definitely feels softer up front, I did notice it was a bit more wobbly up front lol that may be my imagination though. Overall I’m happy with it off

Take it off. The ride quality will improve a lot. And it will articulate way more Offroad. I had mine off on my tacoma for like 25,000 miles after i was complaining about the lift harshness and someone mentioned it would help

Just took it off. Rides like a caddy now! Can tell any real difference in body roll and still feels planted.
Worst part..... putting the skid plate back on. And I thought the one on my ‘04 was a pita....

How does it do around corners with bumps?

In all fairness, my evaluation was apples to oranges because it was a solid axle front end with a heavy Diesel engine.

If someone had more time than me they could make up a sway bar that you could disengage pins manually or possibly with a 12v solenoid. One thing might be to overcome would be the strength of the weld to the hardened steel of the sway bar. If it hasn't been done already. 20200217_224407.jpg

So someone mentioned unbolting and securing the end links out of the way, what if you made some pins for the end that lock in the end links with say, a cotter pin for fast reconnect?

One other thing besides curing cancer I would like to do is find a way to find a simple way to modify (increase volume) on the OEM head unit for the JBL sound system's, I'd make millions.

You do get some body roll when cornering. I can still take turns as fast as I want tho. Didn't feel like it was bad enough to put the sway bar back on. I also carry a 1000lbs of gear(camper) in my truck at all times.

I was a bit skeptical but I am glad I took it off. Bilsteins on top setting without the sway bar rides, to me, better than stock
