Can't begin to thank everyone associated with this site. I knew I wanted a Tundra 3 years ago, and yesterday it finally happened. I'm sure I'll be back with dumb questions that have probably been answered time and time again, but thanks for all the help and support. I've read numerous threads from bumps and noises, to buying, to you name it. I can only hope that these rigs live up to the hype and I did not get a lemon.

So, as a courtesy to others in the market, I'll give a breakdown of the deal. I'm happy with it. I know I could have done a little better, but my window was small.

I began by selecting 2 dealerships that were 400 miles apart. I live in a metropolitan area and was turned off by numberous dealerships that had pricing on their websites that would require a bunch of negotiation. I used the average true car price folks were getting and used that as a benchmark to try to improve upon. I could have gotten a better deal cash wise had I driven the 400 miles, but the gas, time, possible, hotel, etc. made my wife and I stay closer to home. Also, the dealership we went with extended the oil change, rotation warranty to 4 years 45K. So, that's a perk.

My 2020 Limited Crew Max had an msrp of $50,516 and $199 fee. I was able to get $4416 off the sticker and applied the $2500 cash back offer, so my truck price was $43,800. I got what I wanted for my trade, too!

Oh, yeah, I also posted in a previous thread that I wanted predator steps versus the brushed stainless. They were willing to do an even swap. However, after checking them out, I decided to stick with the ones that were on it, and by doing so get an extra $200 off the price of the truck.

I also posted in a previous thread about not being able to combine the cash back and 1.9%. The dealer shopped around and so did I and the best we could do with great credit was the deal the finance guy got us, which was 2.89% I'll take it and pay it off early, so no biggie.

I don't know if I'm allowed to mention dealerships or not on this site or not, so I won't unless a site administrator responds and gives the thumbs up. I can recommend both dealerships based upon price, and was very happy with my sales rep. I did lots of initial work via email with both dealerships.

Again, thanks to all and sorry for the crappy pic! Damn, the leather is nice!!! LOL and heated seats, and.............:)

I'm surprised that no one has chimed in to state that "white is the fastest color". Regardless, congrats on a nice looking truck and getting a great deal.

    Congrats on the new ride!

My 14 had the steps on it that you have and my 19 has the Predator. I was torn between the two, the dealer would have swapped mine on the new truck but I decided to keep the Predators. Still torn on what looks better, but I can say for sure the Predators collect and hold mud! For that reason I would prefer what you have.

Congrats. I purchased my 2020 crewmax yesterday as well. I wanted white initially, but they had quicksand on the lot and that is my wife”s favorite color for the Tundra.

Good to know. I duck hunt a lot, and the old rig got nasty from parking where we hunt. The sales rep also said you tend to bang shins, or maybe it was bang your shin once and you'd wish you didn't have them. All I know is my 90 year old mom hopped in today with no help from me and loved them. No more step stool!!!!

I bought my truck at Seeger Toyota in St. Louis area. The other dealer was Reliable in Springfield, MO. If anyone wants the rep's name at Seeger, let me know so I can get the referral.
