Will the old (~2017) Pro grilles fit on the 2020?

First post! I just ordered my 2020 SR5 last night and I CANNOT WAIT. This will be a long 10 days.

I love the truck, but my least favorite part is the chrome. One of my first orders of business (besides new tires) is throwing on a Pro grille. I prefer the old style like the 2017 has, but would be OK with the 2018+ style.

Do any of you know which grilles are interchangeable? I saw some listings for the 2017 grilles but they say it's incompatible. They look like they would fit, but is there some sort of mounting issue?

Also, have any of you seen anyone put a black pro grille on their gray truck? Or any other color? I think it would look cool, but would love to see a picture before I drop the cash. Attached is my awesome photoshop job to see what a black one would look like.

If any of you want to trade your Pro grille for my stock grille, hit me up!

Don't know if your SR5 will come equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense radar. The photo you posted shows the radar sensing unit installed directly under the TOYOTA logo. If it does and you are upgrading to the newer grill, you will have to have the dealership recalibrate the radar. I am looking for one as well. Same thing if adding an after market lift. Recalibration required. If no radar installed, no sweat. I've seen a couple of the 'iconic' grills offered in the classified section herein.

It will fit, but you need Ajt tss relocation kit.

Interesting and thanks for the good info! So, if I change my tires from the stock 31's to the 33's I just ordered... That will raise my body height a bit. So I should probably get it recalibrated once I put those tires on?

I had my 2020 SR5 leveled, and new rims with 33” put on. Recalibration was not needed.

    Welcome from NY.

It will fit but you need to relocate the TSS sensor. You can buy one or make one yourself. Just search for TSS relocation bracket.
