    So getting ready to have my 6112/5160 installed, I have the aluminum mounting brackets to connect the remote reservoir to the shock body. Should I use some thread locker on the hex head bolt that clamps it together? Or am I better off using the supplied hose ring and spacer? I bought the aluminum mounts because I thought they looked pretty cool.

    I have had mine on since Sept. I didn’t use any threadlocker and they have not come loose at all. I checked every few weeks the first couple months and never found one loose despite traveling at a good pace on some washed out dirt roads.

    Bilstein 6112/5160's ,35x12.5x18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss's, K&N intake, Linex liner, Ceramic tint, Flow Master series 40 dual exhaust, TRD Pro grill, BAK Revolver X4
    I used a some blue loctite on mine just to make sure they didn't come loose. I have run them about 30,000 miles with no problems so far.
