    Not enough....
That's awesome you are rebuilding that, most people don't want even touch anything with damage like that. You are doing a nice job! I daily drive a 2013 Outback I bought at auction too, and I love it. it took a lot of work, and the damage was way worse than the exterior suggested. Both frame horns were bent in and had to be bent back out. And then of course all the "little" stuff adds up quickly!

But your MGM looks great and will be really nice when done!

Fantastic project...just remove and replace everything that doesn't look like a brand new TRD Pro! :D

You've had a very productive winter, amigo.

Plan to color match those mirror caps?

I'm truly impressed with the work and fortitude. Most people will not take on a project this big. I look forward to the rest of the build/restoration.

Should I try to paint rear bumper ( its chrome )
I was told by pro paint guys that you cant paint chrome really well even with epoxy primer it would flake off eventually.

Painting chrome is problematic. I know there are several threads archived here. I've never tried it, and usually don't volunteer advice. Surface prep is everything. Anything less than a sandblasted surface prep on chrome, and I suspect you'll have trouble with paint adhering. Worst case, you could always strip the chrome off the bumper with mild muriatic acid solution, but beadblast or sandblast surface prep of the bare steel would still be required. If you have a chrome plater up there, they may quote you a price to simply strip the chrome off the bumper.

Did you do your own painting? Nice finish.

Thank you, yes I do my own painting, I try to do everything myself when possible, it's fun and I feel good when I learn how to do new things and do it right

I think tow mirrors looks much better than stock ones on this truck. I got them not for looks anyway just need to tow a travel trailer. But I do like how they look

Mirrors look great. You weren't kidding...that's a BIG EFFING trailer. How does the Tundra handle it?

    Salvage title?
