I have a problem that is going to only get worse. My hood bulge that houses my BD light bar has one of the plastic mounting tabs that broke. Due to this damage when I am driving down the highway I can look over my hood and see the hood bulge is curved and flopping in the wind so the air is coming in and forcing its way up and out the rear of the bulge because the tab is busted.

I leave for out of town early Friday morning and just noticed this. I am looking for advice for some kind of adhesive that could hold it in place until my new bulge gets in and I reinforce the :headbang: out of it. Here is a broken hood bulge I had laying around for a visual. This small edge is just not going to cut it and since both ends are busted I was thinking something with the consistency of like hot glue all nice and thick so I can fill in that gap all under that clip reinforcement but be able to melt/mend the plastic for a strong bond!!

Plastic welding with a soldering iron is really the only thing that will hold long term.

Tony, is that just the plain chrome hood bulge? Did you pick up a new one yet? Id part with mine which was taken off at maybe 20k miles. Let me know if youd be interested.

If it's fairly short term, JB Plastic Weld has worked well for me in the past on similar items.

I saw some stuff recently that was like a powder and is activated by some type of mystical magic crap LOL. Wish I could remember the name.

Crap, mine is chrome. I thought yours might have been chrome as well (hard to tell from the picture). If you still want it make me an offer and it's yours. Been storing it in my garage the past 2 years.
