Yes I said this in the past because people were sending us new emails on an hourly basis.
When you send a new message, if it's after 24 hours we will get the ticket in our unassigned folder, which puts it at the top.

I am just trying to make it as clear as I can to everyone, if you send us an email and don't include any info about who you are it makes it much more difficult for us to respond. If you just post here only (you as in "general" not specifically you) I can't even begin to guess who you are from a user name to ticket / system ID, etc.

Thanks for the response Mat. I always include my order number in every communication with you.

I received your email reply, thank you for answering my question about the rev limiter. However, you did not answer my questions about the headers. I will reply back to zendesk again.

FYI for you other guys, Mat say the rev limit is included in the files that he sends. What he means is that in the file name is a 4 digit number that is your rev limit.

I will answer on Zendesk but I recall answering on here that you do not have to wait for an update before installing the headers

I replied on zendesk but you are misunderstanding my question.

I am asking specifically about DATA LOGGING with the new headers. Which tune should I data log with??? the base tune or the revised tune you are about to send me? The reason I ask is because the data logs I sent you (which you will use to send me a revised tune) were made with the oem headers.

Don’t know anything about the revision, as I’m still patiently waiting. But the base tune is pretty enjoyable.

Just uploaded my 1st revision to my Base tune this afternoon. Wow, what an unbelievable difference it made (Nice clean shifts)

Mat asked me for WOT data, I didn't hesitate. From 2000 to 5000 RPM, it just wants to pull. Very fun commute home from work.

    It was.

I had a giant grin after Three good pulls. I was shocked that my heavy ass Tundra, with 35" tires, could move so quickly. I know the 4.88s & Auburn LSD definitely help make it a pretty capable truck.

He's gonna lose a fairly large customer base if he stops responding here. No way would I or any of my friends have paid for his product of he wasnt answering question in a public forum.

Having a public discussion about a product such as this is vital.

Same here. Why would you want him to stop replying here? It's my opinion he should answer any and all general questions posted in the thread he created to sell his program. I can understand wanting to communicate specific questions through private email, but everything else is fair game. Trust me, as much as he communicates with Tacoma world customers, responding to less than 10 questions a week on this thread shouldn't inconvenience much.
    My opinion, of course.

I'm disappointed that nobody is offering a reliable tune on the 2019+ 5.7L Tundras yet....it's driving me nuts.

There are days I wish I would have bought a truck that has more aftermarket support

It gets more difficult every year, from my inexperienced understanding and what I read on the internet. I certainly don't have the time, knowledge, ambition and resources to learn. :notsure:

The main issue is acquiring the ECU code to then begin reverse engineering and making changes. It’s also very low level machine code so its not like changing 1 to 2 fixes everything. There’s an excessive number of tables and calculations and algorithms you have to figure out and understand.

The tundra code is less complex than the tacoma, so once the tacoma all wrapped up and using the stuff he’s learned from that, the tundra will evolve much faster. The tacoma has approximately a billion tables and a whole bunch of weird shit it does, in addition to the trucks being super inconsistent, while being the “same”.

Ya, I would imagine that there's mapping for the Otto cycle and different mapping for the Atkinson cycle (isn't there direct and port injection going on too?), then different mapping within that between the manual and automatic transmissions not unlike the differences between FFV and non-FFV Tundras. Additionally, I'm sure that there are tweaks made to the software throughout production that we probably wouldn't be made aware of were it not for our interest in modding/tuning.

Just curious how long it took you guys to get your initial tune from them after sending the codes in?

It varies. It depends upon what they're working on at the time. If they're focusing on Lexus stuff that week, it won't be that week.

Thanks for letting me know. Sent them all the codes 3 weeks ago and only thing i heard back was what octane i want. Guess I’ll wait another week. I’m used to buying a tune and just having to wait for the cable to come to flash it
