yes it is safe to log

I will check, a ticket number or something to identify you would help

ALSO FYI Rafael our helper will be getting his tools setup in the next few days, and he is also an excellent tuner, he's going to be directly helping with tune updates for you guys. Not just responding or giving technical assistance

All 4 of the Tundras that have that engine? I kid, honestly, I've notice a few of them in my area. Then there's that Lexus SUV, the GX460 I think, that's popular in my area as well. But I couldn't imagine that the ECUs were even remotely similar. Anyway, just rambling. Enjoy your weekends folks!

    @OVTune

Order: #5285 Ok, I have some serious questions here and I will also send these via email:

The JBA LT headers are going on this weekend. I sent you some logs on Jan 19th that I made with base 91 tune and oem headers. Should I wait for the updated tune you will be sending me and data log on that tune with the new headers??? Or should I data log the new headers with my current 91 base tune??

I asked you to keep my oem redline in the email when I requested the initial base tune. I never received an answer. Can you confirm what my red line is??? I do not want an increased red line as I am frequently in the air and bouncing off the limiter.

    Thanks!

I now have 23k miles on my non-ffv, unichip programmed (but not tuned), Magnuson s/c'd truck. I was very keen on getting a tune like OV when I first got it, but the more I drive this truck the more the power and throttle smoothness and shifting smoothness seem to not need any additional improvement that a "tune" would provide. My question is IF and when someone like OV figures out the 2019+ tune, what would the benefits (other than shift lock) a tune would give me?

    Speculation:
    -Direct Shift
-Multiple Fuel Maps (Change from one to another on the fly)
-Torque Limitations at low RPMs increased (see dyno in OP)
    -VVT Tuning

    From the OP:
    Check it out.

@OVTune Standing by for my 1st revision on my Harrop SC base tune.

I was specifically told by Mat "No full throttle, just casual driving"

That's like telling a kid, these fireworks and matches are yours, but you can only light the matches lol..

    But I completely understand, it's a process.

Anyhow, logs sent, Harrop SC is running great on the base tune.

    Order #5289

    Thanks, Mat!

Alright so I just got 5.29 gears installed....How's the tune coming along for 5.29? I'm sure the tune is very different for the supercharger itself but how much extra tuning is required for the added gears?

I just went to 5.29's on 35 tires and at WOT the throttle is cut at around 80ish MPH. I did this once and on the highway when it shuts the throttle off it stays in the lower gear and the RPM's are high. What was my speed and my RPM's? I was not able to look because I was on the highway and when it happened I was trying to see where I was going and trying to turn off the Tow/Haul button ASAP. My fail but I was logging at the time and Matt has that log file.

I was told the Taco guys ran into the same issue but he has not elaborated so what that means I simply do not know

Guys I can't keep back and forth bouncing from here to tickets here to tickets.
If you need something specific to your tune, Send a Zendesk message. if you don't receive a response in 48 hours, please send another. We have hundreds of tickets right now, and are sorting through as much as possible as fast as possible.

If you have a flex fuel truck and it is supercharged and you receive ANY throttle cut in cold weather for we are looking into it and trying to solve why it is still happening. You do not have to keep posting and asking.

I am not going to answer individual customer issues on here, because 99% of the time I do not know who you are. If you have an emergency, or need help, have questions, Zendesk us. You will get a response faster there if you include some sort of info of who you are.

Just sending an email saying "my truck is doing x... what do I do, can you look into this" I simply do not know who you are and can't help. We are tuning hundreds of Tundras, please, please, please, add some INDENTIFYING info to your email.
Second issue, Zendesk rejects messages with files larger than 7mb. We are talking with Zendesk to get this resolved. But just be aware if you have a huge log file (bigger than 7mb) we can't get it on Zendesk. Sorry

Thank you for the patience I understand and am aware of the issue some of you guys have. The 5.29 gears issue is completely separate, and is not an issue. The gearing ratio needs to be setup and shift maps do in the tune. I promise you, send us a Zendesk message, include who you are so we can look you up, and we will get you taken care of.

Dude. You've said in the past not to keep emailing you over and over on Zendesk. So I email and get no answer so I post here.

    Which is it?

Sounds like you want me to keep emailing Zendesk every 48 hours so thats what I will do.

Let me know if the process changes.
